O dear! I have purchased books from the 2mm Scale Association. They are like your local drug dealers. They are very friendly and everything is cheap to buy. But be warned once you start it is hard to stop. You know that 0 gauge is the only true gauge! Brass wagon kits are all brass, no plastic bits. I hope you recover soon. I worry about you. Good luck, good to see you back.
Interesting stuff! We had a family friend who was a 2mm finescale modeller who once sat me down and showed me building 2mm finescale track out of copper clad when I was around 12 or 13! He even gave me one of these etched nickel silver chassis kits and body's to try, I think I ended up giving it a go myself, but glued it together! It rolls and still exists in a box today. If 12 year old me could do it I'm sure you'll definitely have no problem 😂 Sadly I haven't been in contact with the family friend for more than a decade, but I've still got the soldering iron and track jigs he gave me to give 2mm finescale a go!
Enjoyed the video. Cheers Bernie
That old British line I've heard many times... "sometimes a change is as good as a rest..."
Glad to see you re-energized.
A James Hilton cameo style layout sounds appealing. A nice contrast from 7mm.
