what were the key words that you used to find that sprocket on eBay? I just ordered one by the looks of the picture that had the same key way in the center and the hole was way larger
Did this ever get finished? I’m looking at doing a dual 18v setup to add an auxiliary battery to my electric longboard. I’d be interested if you have the 3D stl files for connecting the two in series.
@@BenjaminNelsonX ahhhh, okay. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to respond. I have a Baja mb200 mini bike, that I have stripped to convert it to a ebike. Have you heard of the new thin, flexible batteries, that can be incorporated, into the framing of vehicles? You have given me very insightful tutorials, thank you!
Your kid's excited laugh is priceless!
Fun little project! Definitely brakes and chain alignment are next on the list.
Thanks for the reply, love this project, I'd love to have one of these to run to the shops here in the UK!
Sick project
Pretty sure you are a great role model!
Great work, sir
I love it, keep the good work.
As always, keep your fingers and toes away from chain drives! And read the video description for more information.

hi , were you ever able to get any speed out of that machine ?
I think the chain is rubbing on the frame ? A chain tensioner could help. greetings from Panamá
the chain came of. HE HE
what sort of range do you get out of the 2 18v batteries?
would you have a link to the motor mounting bracket?
No link. It was just a large L-bracket from the hardware store that I drilled extra holes in!
Hi, can u send me the link for the sprocket please. Thx
How bout welding a thick washer over the sprocket, to act as a guide/guard to help keeping the chain on?
The issue was just that the chain wasn't aligned or tensioned yet.

@@TuneintoLearning if you're looking for batteries you can get 48v power cell packs right now on battery hook up for dirt cheap.
Where can I hey that motor bracket from? I need one
It's just a 90 bracket I bought from the hardware store and drilled a few holes in it.
Where’d u get that motor mount
@@noahwilliams7392 The mount is just a large angle bracket from the local hardware store, in which I drilled a couple of holes.
Buenas asta cuánto puede correr un motorcito de esos???
Where did you get that motor bracket?
It was a very large L-bracket from the hardware store. I simply drilled holes in it to mount the motor.
Make a chain tensioner
Where did you get that plate that holds the motor?)
It's just a generic bracket I bought at the hardware store and drilled holes in.
Where did you get the #35 sproket for the 36v motor? Thanks for the video. I learned a lot from it.
Just mail-order. I got it from the same eBay vendor that I bought the motor from.
It's too bad you can't put the larger sprocket on the motor and the smaller one on the wheel.
You don't have any kids named Gage i hope.
Great video 👍👍 #anilexperiment
Hahaha do not try this at home or even someone else’s home! 😜
