Mine is growing quite quickly but she’s already an established 8” pot and she practicality gets a sansi 36w bulb all to herself.
Edit: I should mention that she has quite a bit of green on her.

As a beginner indoor plant person, i bought a marble queen as one of my first plants from my local grocery store in November. I noticed black spots on the plant but didn't think much about it since the plant looked very lush. About two weeks into bringing it home, it started dying, yellowing, and drooping. Root rot, I pulled on one of the stems and it just glided off with a gooey string of mucus. I did some research, pulled the plant out of its pot, rinsed the roots, got rid of sickly parts, re-potted in a super chunky soil. I wasn't left with much plant, maybe 1/3 but it was a baptism by fire experience and I learned a lot about how to care for pothos.

Thank you for this video! I just got into wanting my first plant and I really wanted the Manjula. But after watching your Manjula video and then this one, I went to my local big box store and they had the Marble Queen. I decided to get it since it's a lot easier to find in my area. And since it's my first plant I decided to not challenge myself too much yet. It really is gorgeous in person. I cannot wait to watch mine grow and to propagate it.

I have found that my Marble Queen becomes more variegated with more sunlight and vice versa, like my golden. I didn't even realize I HAD a golden pothos until I gave it more light and it became variegated 🙃 My Marble Queen was doing fine and then I added a grow light and it became a LOT creamier. I don't know that chopping will do as much as adding light will in terms of increasing variegation.

I got a small one from plane exchange, I chopped it into single nodes and propagate it into about 5 shoots. After transfer it to soil, I just keep chopping nodes that are crawling out of the pots and bury the cutting back to the soil. Those cuttings usually already have aerial roots because they are pretty close to the soil and they would establish pretty quickly.
I am hoping to get mine to pick up in size, so I put it on a pole 2 month ago. So far I am seeing some good signs.
The variegation is a bit unstable, and you do need to manage it. I was able to get some high variegation and vigorous growth, even with a west facing window in Canadian winter.

I love the Marble Queen, definitely my favourite out of all of them. I propagate my trailing pothos' by pinning the trailing stems onto pots of soil still attached to the mother plant, let them root themselves in and then chop. At the end of it you already have potted plants to keep or pass on.

Glad you are showing the Marble queen such a beautiful pothos. I got mine 2 years ago as a baby plant. Its growing slowly and looks like yours colour wise with speckling and white blotches. I'd love to get a Snow queen but from what I've seen online, the images don't seem to show much difference to the Marble 🤔. I've seen someone growing this plant getting giant leaves and that's Leca Queen who has made her own mosspole supports and feeds the moss pole directly, I think that's key to getting massive leaves. My Marble queen are on a south east facing window, getting lots of light, not super fast growers, but no where near as finicky as the Manjula which I gave up on.

In my town there are golden pothos growing up the trees in landscaping and they get huge and fenestrate. I have been trying maturing a bunch of “pothos” types up trees in my yard now. Can’t wait for big fenestrated leaves! The marble queen sized up not as quick as golden pothos or cebu blue but I’m hoping for fenrstrations by spring (one year). These plants want to climb and attach if the humidity is there they will attach and run on and get BiG! There’s a reason we bench mark fast growth with pothos! I have really enjoyed learning with you this year. Thank you!

For anyone who wants a alternative to the marble queen pothos
I recently acquired a epiprenum pinnatum marble and that seems to be very fast growing and nice
It’s even started to develop fenestrations

@sydneyplantguy does not have this beauty (yes, psychofan here).
Have mines for a while, just bought another one for the simple reason: it's just stunning 😍 most of mines are hanging and still giving me decent leafs. My absolute favorite pothos and one of favorite plants in general.
Fungus? Yes!!! Thrips? Unfortunately yes but it was 100% my bad as I didn't treat it in time and bastards spread everywhere.
In my experience it's really easy plant as long as it doesn't get overwatered.
Someone on Instagram has its mature fenestrated form (on a moss pole) and it's my absolute dream to grow my newest baby that big! Only time will tell but fingers crossed!
    Enjoy your marble queen guys!
Thanks for another amazing video ❤ love the plant reviews!

Also it is a pretty fast grower for me as well, the more bright (indirect) light it gets the better.
