Nice work. I have a similar 4-inch import rotary table with a 75:1 reduction. I'm hoping to do the same. Glad I found this video. It gives me a little hope, lol. Thanks for sharing.
+Emmas Spareroom Machineshop Thank you Emma. Seems to work well and I'm happy with the result. A tiny bit of tweaking yet, but ready to move on to the next project!
Dear Bill how you doing? I am the manufacturer of mini Rotary Tables and yesterday i saw one video uploaded by you which is related to the indexing plate attachment for my mini rotary table. Can it be possible for you to send me the drawing for that indexing plate, i wants to develop it.
Nice job. I've never seen such a small rotary table. Did I notice an upward jump in your workpiece around the 2:20 mark? My camera picks up on things my eyes miss in some of my videos. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much. What is the collet size you used? If you keep making nice brass parts like that, Clickspring is going to have a talk with you. Keep up the good work.
It’s been awhile since I watched this one. I do remember when I was test cutting I had a little jump. It was the cutter that was the problem. I used an ER16 collet I believe it an ER32. Don’t remember. I have a set of both.
Thanks for the reply Bill, I have to admit its one of the better transformations of a shop tool that I've seen. Very clever. I may send some people over here to check it out. Did your series include a video on how you made the collet chuck?
Ok. I remember now. If you watch the last video I am drilling some bolt holes in the actually collet chuck mount. That is how I attached it to the face of the rotary.

I bought the collet chuck and either bolted it on or somehow fixed it on. It’s funny how much I forget!
