George Floyd was murdered a mile and a half from my home, and many of my friends have been involved in the protests. I made this in a week as a way to work through my emotions, as a white person doing my best to oppose racism. I hope you get something out of it. If nothing else I hope it is an interesting history lesson! Read more here: www.patreon.com/posts/38184083
I was wondering why your username seemed familiar, and then I realized that your singular upload is pinned in my group chat because the first time I saw it I laughed really hard and shared it with them haha
Thank you for this lesson. On the LR side, I really appreciate the reoccurring track elements, especially "From Dublin city to San Diego" with the track that come from off screen :)
As an Irishman living in California (stolen from Mexico by Anglos) this makes me very proud. Mexican people are awesome and worth fighting for. Proud Irish Californian not murikkkan.
And almost 170 years later my nephew joined the American army so he could get citizenship. Only by chance did he avoid having to go to war and is now out of the army. In his teens he was almost killed in a sectarian attack in Belfast. The Irish have a long history of fighting for justice.
"Saint Patrick's Battalion: the name given them, Followers of the pope, and considered lesser men. A woeful tale of anger, Of bravery and shame. Viva San Patricios: their memory will remain."
Huh... looks like we both wanted to do an activist track in these times, but you just finished yours before I even started mine! Anyways, REALLY interesting track and really brave for you to put this out there, given the situation you’re literally in. Hopefully you’re safe out there!
Be proud of things to be proud of, feel shame for things to be ashamed of. a human being much like a country has enough room to have both. To ignore good because bad exists paves bigotry. to deny the bad because good exists paves blind faith and fascism.

I'm a quarter Irish and this made me feel some pride towards that for the first time, probably :) Incredible track.
Your efforts are so appreciated and it’s amazing how you’re using your platform for good. Thank you so much.

It's so weird how the history books still depict USA's liberation as just. Not just in America, but here in sweden too
looks like we have some more to do.
Stay strong out there.
How is it you’ve covered the entire gauntlet of human emotions through the medium of Tiny Sled?
I have nothing to add. All I'll say is well done.
A beautiful thing, the harmony of history and art. Well done, and thank you.
