With the rise of zoflora hints and tips videos i thought it was about time for some dont do's with it as well
At 65 i never thought i could learn new things about Zoflora, best sensible video i have seen. Subscribed thanks
I empty the smallest sized bottle in to my toilet brush holder and dulite with water to the top. Each time I clean the toilet you get the lovely zoflora scent

Listen too the video folks! Do NOT put Zoflora in electricals it doesn't end well.
Watch putting it in cistern. We had a new toilet fitted which has a bag, easiest way I can think to call it, it's for using just a small amount of water. Anyway my bag kept bursting, the plumber said it was because I was using disinfectant, the bag cannot be used with anything but water. Never had a problem since
Thanks for this sensible video. I've bought some Zoflora and been watching videos of ideas for using it. Some of the comments pointed out fire risks of some of the ideas, which led me to find this.

I put about 5 capfuls in with my washing in the softener drawer, and never had any problems with it, and I do this in every wash I’m obsessed with killing germs, and my clothes smell unbelievable, and they are so clean, and so is the machine
I just started using Zoflora and it is a nice disinfectant product but I dont find that the fragrance stays for longer than 10 mins. Once it has dried, the scent is gone. I dont understand all this hype about how it makes your home smell great because it is not true at all. I've poured it down toilets and drains and nothing. I've diluted it and used as an air freshener and you can't smell it for longer than a minute. It's a great product for disinfection and cleaning and pleasant to work with because it smells nice but the fragrance does not linger for long at all and it does not make your house smell scented.
Thought I was the only one! Zoflora is extremely overhyped. Scent doesn't last long at all.
I had no idea people are doing such crazy things with Zoflora!

Great advice. I love zaflora and i admit im very careful with it. Its highly flammable and super concentrated chemical so i only use it diluted on my floors, down my sink plug hole and down my toilet. But thats it
Yep, Zoflora broke my steam mop lol! Was young and a bit daft, to use with a steam mop spray it diluted on to the floor and then go over with steam mop.
Love to clean down my radiators with it. When there turned on the house smells devine

Bouquet reminds me of my mom. She used this in the 70's and I've used it since I had my first home.
I add a capful to my bissell crosswave floor washer. It’s always fine. It will be fine, I know this as I’m a bissell engineer who fixes the machines and I’ve not seen any problems with my machine. Also the bissell crosswave is amazing if you want too replace your mop!!
Edit: the crosswave doesn’t heat the water!!
Love your videos! ❤️ I add a capful of linen fresh every time I wash my towels. Love it! ❤️ it also keeps the machine smelling fresh as well. I'm definitely going to try the sanitary towel trick! Another fave of mine is to pour a capful into my sink Caddy every night after cleaning it, makes the kitchen smell lovely! X

I can vouch for the steam floor cleaner too....been using zoflora in the water holder and now it's not producing any steam at all. Can only put it down to that as it's new and only used about 10 times! Unless it's a fault with the machine, but I'm pretty sure it must be the zoflora! 😬

Wilkos do scented water especially for steam mops. Comes in two different scents.
But you can put some on the cloth part of the floor steamer so you get the smell and disinfection and not clog the steamer

Is it not a skin irritant? I can't imagine why if it says to use gloves why it would be ok to put on clothes?
I agree,it's only a matter of time until someone ends up in court.
+Yorkshire lass Diaries zoflora even have it on their own website about putting it in the washing machine and sprating fabrics wiru it. I think its only an irritant when not diluted properly x

One I do is put it in my stick sent diffuser. Better then the radiators

+nicolle_ cali zoflora say about putting it in the washing machine on theor website but it is a disinfectant so will kill germs in clothes, bedding towels ect
I refilled my car scent with zoflora. I contacted zoflora and they said it was fine as it’s on the heater and not electrical.
I've used zoflora since the 70s anyone should know do not use on electrics the toilet thing is great bin doin that for yrs also down sinks and toilets and shower drains at night house smells fab it's better to be safe these new fads cause fires thank you for the video

Zoflora is good stuff. But it really does break steam mops. Just use it with mop and bucket instead.
Where are your storage baskets from? The ones you keep all your zoflora in x

Does it actually clean things as in remove dirt or just make place smell nice n maybe shine??
yes it is a disinfectant
A disinfectant will kill germs but will only remove surface dirt, like water. Ideally you want to clean regularly and then disinfect once a week or per day, depending on where it’s being used.
I find Zaflora very hard to find Many large stores don't carry it.Id love the holiday scent but any store that carries it is always sold out.I never see the larger bottle anywhere.The small bottle doesn't last me at all.

Winter morning was only available around the festive season in my area of the UK. Also I would say, it is not as nice as the other fragrances.

People need to be careful with all chemical perfumes. They are not particularly good for anyone let alone small children. They have chemical mixes which are not tested as they are not foodstuffs and can cause severe reactions.They are taken into the lungs or can get directly onto the skin. Please do some research first for the sake of your and your children's health. Think of all those chemical cocktail droplets circulating around your house. Trust me, I like perfumes a lot but when you find out what all these air fresheners and fragrances can do to your body ,you would use them with caution.

No this isn’t safe sorry for jumping on but I admin Zoflora Addicts on fb and creating Zoflora into a steam by using direct on the floor is damaging to the lungs and I have an email from the medical team to verify from Thornton and Ross.

Don't use this product I find I don't like the smell I do like clean fresh oust air freshener plus Im old fashion and use white finger and baking soda I like a clean fresh home but I like to save money at the same time on cleaning products x

Why would people want to wear their clothes/pjs which now smell like grandma's disinfectant? Surely this isn't good for your skin or your lungs. Think some of you have gone a bit overboard with the zoflora as the new fad.

Zoflora is just another fad that’s been caused by well known you tubers and people are going mad with it thinking it’s fashionable. Can’t stand this trend of using things as things they weren’t made for just for the sake of creating ‘hacks’. Thinking of rubbing it on your radiators? Buy air freshener, that’s what it’s made for

+Nadia Ahmed yeah its not worth it. With this time of year and the radiators being on soak a cloth or kitchen roll with diluted zoflora or favourite softener and when the radiators are on the house will smell amazing

I just brought some bamboo sticks from ebay. And I am making my own non electric reed defuse. Just put some diluted Zoflora in a old jam jar and add a few bamboo sticks.

I wouldn't recommend putting zoflora in the washing machine, when I added a lid full to my drawer to make my towels smell nicer and it stripped the dye from my towels!!
Put it in the drawer with your fabric softener i only use the comfort pure when i use zoflora in the wash it doesn't or hasn’t stripped the dye from any of my clothes
