HEY guys! I wanted to share my updated cleaning routine in the new house. I know this might seem like a lot. I don't always have this many cleaning products, but I wanted to show ALL of my favorites for this video.. Many times I will use one product for multi purposes to save room, money & waste etc, but these are all the different options I do like. I go back and forth between using certain products.. Omg you know having a family is not that fun 😂And no not every women can clean like she do.When wake up 6 get ready with kids,go to work ,run pick up the kids,go shopping ,go home ,feed the kids and them take them to clubs and then finally get home again ,and yeah feed them again,oh nonono you can't site down to enjoy the coffe coz you need prep everything to the next they and to school and get the kids showered and put them in a bed and then there is the kitchen mess waiting for you before you even get the chance to get shower 🙄.And then maybe you got left some energy to eat something once a day 🙄So no its not like she make it up.Coz maybe she have( as her home saw to us)a husband who makes a good money so she's no need to work 10 hours so she has time to playing 😂So no hun having the family is not to every one so easy and nice .Just who has money enough 🙄

You gave me hope, I don’t look around in my house I got depression anxiety for some years now, my housekeepers cleans cooks and almost do everything, for a week now, I bought for myself a candle smells like pineapple I some how looked outside ... I’m sure my husband and my kids noticed because I started to notice them more and I started to be myself again watching you is something peaceful and hopeful that we can enjoy everything we have and appreciate the life we live in.
I want to like mrs Myers but it really bothers me, I’m sensitive to harsh chemical scent so I try to use safe products. Everytime I use the mrs Myers lemon verbena it always bother my nose and I start sneezing and getting headaches. I’m not sure what it is that’s bothering me but it never fails Everytime I use it I get a reaction. I might wanna try a different scent from that line.
now im inspired to clean!!! i have emetophobia and that brings symptoms of ocd, and i get hyperfocused, so when i feel mentally healthy i dont clean like i do when my emet is high, so i clean like once every 3 days instead of everyday, so once again when i feel mentally healthy i get easily motivated instead of anxious and i love these vids to get me going :)
Rachel, I am so motivated by your videos. I just have to say, from one constantly cleaning Mom to another, that a Dyson V8 Absolute would be your new best friend. Seriously!! As a mother of 2 kids, it has completely eliminated my use of brooms and dirt buster types of vacuums. I've been through several over the years. I love my Shark Steam Mop, but combined with the V8 from Dyson, it's just a great cleaning duo. Even better, it's not too heavy for my kids to use and they actually love using it. It was the best purchase I've made this year and so worth the high price tag.

You are not supposed to use fabric softener when you're washing towels/kitchen towels because it effects the absorbency of the towel - spread the word!
THEGiRLMiLLE I almost commented the same thing as you, but then saw your comment. I find it weird she doesn't use the fabric softener on clothes, but uses it in towels. That is backwards. Besides that, she had good cleaning tips.
THEGiRLMiLLE you can wash them in straight distilled vinegar and hit water, which helps gets the softener out the fibers to get them back to absorbancy.
Just a quick tip, when you wipe down surfaces, use an "S" motion from left to right then buff it out with a clean dry rag for less streaks, wiping around in a circle back and forth is less effective because you're kind of just moving all the dirk/gunk around..if that makes any sense.
Sometimes J watch your videos because my head is spinning from my 3 jobs, taking care of my own home and remembering everything for my tornado brain boss and it makes me feel like the world is clean and simple and uncomplicated and so thank you for that.

I agree a way to maintain a clean, organized home is to do a little everyday. Yes making the beds everyday is a must, makes a huge difference. I also have my morning routine and night routine and your videos are always so much fun, love to learn new tips from others.
I'm working on a shop right now.. =) Ran into a few problems with the name I chose & also selling homemade skincare.. Apparently the insurance for homemade skincare via a store is quite pricey for a start up.. I'm working around it, and will update soon =) once the shop gets some traction I can definitely include homemade items.. I'm hoping to get it off the ground soon. xo

It's not that hard if u do a daily clean (tidy up, hover, dishes and washing/laundry) and then pick one room/job to deep clean once the kids are in bed eg... bathroom or dust/windows .... it's not that hard

anny o I know you aren't asking me, but I want to share my two cents on how I do this. I keep my rags in two baskets. One is for clean one is for dirty. I use many rags daily and I soak them in a bleach/water to disinfect them when I am done I wring them out, hang them to dry, then tranfer them to dirty basket until they fill basket, then I wash them, dry them, fold them and put into clean basket.
Nice routine there, but I must give you some advice NOT to use softener on your towels as softener destroys the towels and its absorbency. Tumble dry them instead and you'll receive the same softening!
I love your videos, especially your home videos. I've been finding myself overwhelmed with cleaning since I had been trying to do all three steps every day. Dividing it into every day, every three days and once a week will definitely help. Great video!

Fabric Softener may make your towels, "..feel nice & soft". However, I heard that both fabric softener & dryer sheets break down the fibres of towels, making them more oily & less absorbent during drying, thus making them less effecacious. I had this double-checked in a lab. & it's quite true!! Also, unless you have a dog-cleaning business, there is absolutely no need for the stiff-bristled brush we are watching you scrubbing your bath out with & aIso using on your tiles. The cleansers which we have access to today have ingredients which break down body oils & take care of other such waste which is sloughed off our bodies during bathing or showering. These aren't our grandmother's (staff's) products we are using :-). I knew that you wouldn't want to be disseminating incorrect information. Now you don't have to!!
I have a little tub of French Clay specifically made for heavy duty cleaning which I LOVE ❤️ It gets everything! No more stains on the sink or the stove etc, and everything looks amazingly SHINY ✨All natural and smells like lemon candy 🍋
Get the zip bags for lingerie. I put my bras in one, underpants in another and socks or chemises in another. It really helps the wear and tear on delicate fabrics. I use Tide with the extra stain removal powder. If I have time, I'll pause the wash cycle so those things get soaking time. **This Tide is so dandy! I had a white linen shirt that picked up colors from several shirts. I forgot about that load and it was badly badly stained. I used the Tide, paused the cycle for 20 minutes to soak~~it came out white as snow!
I have the top of the line Roomba and we LOVE it! We have a German Shepherd and she sheds so much. We have the Roomba set up on the app on our iPhones and it runs daily. We end up emptying the tank twice daily between all the dust and dog hair. It is fantastic!
Love the video but I need advice!! I'm a huge germaphobe so I know everyone else uses towels or rags to wipe down surfaces to clean but it completely grosses me out using rags and washing and reusing. Just the thought of food gunk and bacteria on them and throwing that in the washer, I can't get over it 😔 so I'm always using thick paper towels instead and then tossing. To wipe down kitchen areas and bathroom because there's sooo much bacteria. Does anyone else have this problem? I know it's such a waste but I really don't know what other alternatives there are! It's just a personal thing for me not against anyone else who does it! I love all of the videos and Rachel is definitely one of my favorite youtubers 😘
I agree! I'm always using paper towels to clean! At least it helps cut down on cross contamination and you don't have to put a bacteria filled towel in washer machine.
Honestly Rachel, you put me in the mood of cleaning with your videos which is pretty hard, and my mother and I are always have arguments about cleaning so yo do your job pretty damn well 😃❤

Rachel, thank you so much for the tip on the Method Antibac Toilet; I dreamt about it, bought it, and love it! I use mostly Norwex now for my cleaning jobs. The Method product will save me so much money. Now I can just use my Descaler for big jobs! Mrs. Meyers Surface Scrub is the product I bought first that got me loving to clean. I also like the Baking Soda Cream Cleanser; both in Lemon Verbena. I love the Seventh Generation Wood Cleaner the best; try it sometime. I love your videos. Rachel I love all your diy and cleaning videos. I'm just so shocked you purchase so many cleaning type products when you are a lover of all natural things and essential oils. A lot of those items that claim to be natural really aren't. Young Living essential oils makes a cleaning concentrate that would completely stream line your clean. It honestly can be make into a cleaner for everything from toilets to sinks to windows. You should look them up if you have the time and see what it's all about

I'm working on a shop right now.. =) Ran into a few problems with the name I chose & also selling homemade skincare.. Apparently the insurance for homemade skincare via a store is quite pricey for a start up.. I'm working around it, and will update soon =) once the shop gets some traction I can definitely include homemade items.. I'm hoping to get it off the ground soon. xo

It's not that hard if u do a daily clean (tidy up, hover, dishes and washing/laundry) and then pick one room/job to deep clean once the kids are in bed eg... bathroom or dust/windows .... it's not that hard

how do you clean the rags you use to wipe everything off?
I have rags just for cleaning and projects, and a bin to throw them in once I'm done using them. I wash them all together.
anny o I know you aren't asking me, but I want to share my two cents on how I do this. I keep my rags in two baskets. One is for clean one is for dirty. I use many rags daily and I soak them in a bleach/water to disinfect them when I am done I wring them out, hang them to dry, then tranfer them to dirty basket until they fill basket, then I wash them, dry them, fold them and put into clean basket.

Nice routine there, but I must give you some advice NOT to use softener on your towels as softener destroys the towels and its absorbency. Tumble dry them instead and you'll receive the same softening!
I love your videos, especially your home videos. I've been finding myself overwhelmed with cleaning since I had been trying to do all three steps every day. Dividing it into every day, every three days and once a week will definitely help. Great video!

Fabric Softener may make your towels, "..feel nice & soft". However, I heard that both fabric softener & dryer sheets break down the fibres of towels, making them more oily & less absorbent during drying, thus making them less effecacious. I had this double-checked in a lab. & it's quite true!! Also, unless you have a dog-cleaning business, there is absolutely no need for the stiff-bristled brush we are watching you scrubbing your bath out with & aIso using on your tiles. The cleansers which we have access to today have ingredients which break down body oils & take care of other such waste which is sloughed off our bodies during bathing or showering. These aren't our grandmother's (staff's) products we are using :-). I knew that you wouldn't want to be disseminating incorrect information. Now you don't have to!!
I have a little tub of French Clay specifically made for heavy duty cleaning which I LOVE ❤️ It gets everything! No more stains on the sink or the stove etc, and everything looks amazingly SHINY ✨All natural and smells like lemon candy 🍋

Get the zip bags for lingerie. I put my bras in one, underpants in another and socks or chemises in another. It really helps the wear and tear on delicate fabrics. I use Tide with the extra stain removal powder. If I have time, I'll pause the wash cycle so those things get soaking time. **This Tide is so dandy! I had a white linen shirt that picked up colors from several shirts. I forgot about that load and it was badly badly stained. I used the Tide, paused the cycle for 20 minutes to soak~~it came out white as snow!

I have the top of the line Roomba and we LOVE it! We have a German Shepherd and she sheds so much. We have the Roomba set up on the app on our iPhones and it runs daily. We end up emptying the tank twice daily between all the dust and dog hair. It is fantastic!
Love the video but I need advice!! I'm a huge germaphobe so I know everyone else uses towels or rags to wipe down surfaces to clean but it completely grosses me out using rags and washing and reusing. Just the thought of food gunk and bacteria on them and throwing that in the washer, I can't get over it 😔 so I'm always using thick paper towels instead and then tossing. To wipe down kitchen areas and bathroom because there's sooo much bacteria. Does anyone else have this problem? I know it's such a waste but I really don't know what other alternatives there are! It's just a personal thing for me not against anyone else who does it! I love all of the videos and Rachel is definitely one of my favorite youtubers 😘

I agree! I'm always using paper towels to clean! At least it helps cut down on cross contamination and you don't have to put a bacteria filled towel in washer machine.

Rachel, thank you so much for the tip on the Method Antibac Toilet; I dreamt about it, bought it, and love it! I use mostly Norwex now for my cleaning jobs. The Method product will save me so much money. Now I can just use my Descaler for big jobs! Mrs. Meyers Surface Scrub is the product I bought first that got me loving to clean. I also like the Baking Soda Cream Cleanser; both in Lemon Verbena. I love the Seventh Generation Wood Cleaner the best; try it sometime. I love your videos. Rachel I love all your diy and cleaning videos. I'm just so shocked you purchase so many cleaning type products when you are a lover of all natural things and essential oils. A lot of those items that claim to be natural really aren't. Young Living essential oils makes a cleaning concentrate that would completely stream line your clean. It honestly can be make into a cleaner for everything from toilets to sinks to windows. You should look them up if you have the time and see what it's all about
