As a neuropsychologist I always looked up to Jung. This video revived and enhanced my admiration realising that his insights should be taught at school and shared with all the population. Mankind needs it more than ever. If you are a psychiatrist, philosopher or psychologist, please spread his insights through talks in a accessible way to people.

Oh yes, before the WW2 his ideas also helped to reawaken the Volksgeist in the German population which had dozed in it for centuries…

I agree and would add that clergy and theologians should also become acquainted with Jung.

Dr. Jung life story made me aware and believe that every man is born with a unique purpose entirely of his own and knowing our conscious and unconscious can aide to accomplish our life's mission. Moreover, death is just transition we all go through. We may not know what lies ahead, however, just knowing our essence lives on is in itself consoling. I can only be ever so humbly grateful to our creator.

what an insightful and thorough understanding of Jung, by the underestimated Sir Laurens van der Post in 1972. Now that we see the red book in the whole, we can appreciate this insight, and see the reverence and kindness in dealing with the personal man, Jung, who was prepared to look into the unconscious for us all

Well said, i just now ordered Sir Van der Posts book about Jung, cant wait to read it, hes such a good story teller. Starting to read Jung was the best decision i ever made, this evening, a couple of hours ago, i finished reading Liber Novus, Jungs red book, it took me 2 years, i read a bit here and there, while reading his other works, and i am simply blown away, impossible to put into words the gratitude and respect, i feel for Jung. I believe he found a way for man to evolve to a new stage.

Why do all super-intelligent human beings such as Jung, have to have a contest with God?
That is what I fail to understand.
Not, that I am a very religious person myself, but, it's striking that most of the scholars and intellectuals in any academic walk of life or study field, ultimately, pick up a fight against religion and faith in God.

The pagan god underground sounds like a the devil. Pagan worship is the worship of the creation including, earth, spirits and self. Sex is very pivotal to existence and many cultures worship the male and female members. So I think considering the message of Jung overall I would say he was given a vision from a fallen angel. Listen carefully to Jung's own admissions.
