I’m a ravens fan and I every time Ben would get hurt or flushed out of the pocket my heart would start pounding because you knew he was about to crush my dreams and raise his game to another level. An absolute baller. All the respect in the world for Ben and Tomlin.

Ben is one QB who could have survived and played great in the pre - protect the QB era.
You can clearly see that the Tomlin the media gets and the Tomlin the Steelers get are very very different people. Seeing him comfortable gives a peak into why players love him. He just seems like another player in terms of his energy and ability to connect. Love Tomlin but dude needs to learn what a good OC looks like

God I loved those Steelers-Ravens match-ups in that era. Those teams hated each other with a passion and they played like it.
They had so much respect for each other too which is why it was special. You look at Steelers vs bengals, and it seems like that respect factor was missing a lot of the time.
