There isn't anyway 2 let go of Donna...she was such a part of the music scene and made such a comeback...only God has the plan..I miss Donna..
One of the many hit masterpieces by Stock Aitken Waterman. Can't ask for anything better.

Well Henry... not quite, check out the house version of "This Time" by Melanie Wilson... It took me a several minutes before i noticed it wasn't Donna or S.A.W.productions at all. If a band can come so close to a song with a coverage...... well I think than you can call them Professional with a capital P, don't you think? (apart from if you like house or not)
This was a huge comeback for Donna Summer and I was so exited,,,,,,,,,LOVE FROM SWEDEN🎉✨✨🎉

This for me is probably Pete Waterman's finest hour....along with Kylie's What Do I Have To Do. Just loved it when it was released and haven't stopped listening to it since. Great remix, it brings the brilliant strings and backing track to the fore. I'm going crazy just to let you know ...this is really good!

I miss donna
I remember well that time when SAW were at the top of the charts with their productions with Kylie, Rick, Bananarama, and I always dreamed that one day they would produce an album for Donna. One night I was driving my car and I was listening to a Dance Music program on a Saturday on the radio, called Festa da Cidade, led by DJ Memê, when he announced that the next block would be the release of Donna's new song produced by SAW. I was ecstatic when he released TTIKIFR, which was the only song that played on every show over the course of the year and was voted the show's #1 Dance Song of 1989. The whole album is perfect and in 1992 Breakaway was #1 here in Rio de Janeiro when Donna came here for the first time. Congratulations on this amazing remix that only brings me good memories...

I'm likely in an exclusive minority of one when I say this my favourite song by our Donna. What do you expect when you mix her vocals with SAW and Hammond? In fact, all the tracks on this album are so tuneful, so memorable. I do wish they could have collaborated again after such a successful first go-round.
I've heard this track in every possible mix, so I speak as a sheepish connoisseur when I say this is the best. You've done some nandlmusic signature tricks, like unexpectedly blocking out the lead vocals to leave bare the background music, or just extending instrumentals to underscore how wonderful they are - even though I hadn't noticed before - as at 5.50. So full marks, Nick, and thank you!

Im bit sad that Donna never really got a chance to work with Patrick Adams. I believe at the beginning of 80s there was a chance for that. And that collaboration could have changed 80s music quite a bit.
