It gets hilly in northern MI, but its fairly flat where I live so I know I would love playing this course. I hope I am fortunate enough to be able to someday. Seems like the tee pads are pretty short, and there's no room for a follow through. Eagle seemed to be sawing off some of his shots because he couldn't get a full runup or follow through. But a beautiful course. I sure wish I could go out to Norway and play it.

    Have any tournaments been held here yet? I don't see how you could have a tournament or a bunch of disc golfers here. For hole 18, you have to throw over the #17 fairway and basket. I would think that would cause a delay of game waiting for the fairway/green to clear. 17 & 18 would really back up.

    • @danieljensen2772
      @danieljensen2772 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      National championships were held there in 2019. Golf start with 12min intervals between groups.
      Yes, there was some degree of backup on 17 & 18, but no more than 10-15 mins tops to my recollection

    • @melsashreds
      @melsashreds 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The risk is huge. The bend is much harder than depicted in the video and the basket is perched on a small knoll that has a brutal drop off. Once you make it out of the corridor, there's elevation so it's no easy reach even if the line is good. One kick and you're in tree jail on either side.

    Ok i have never seen a decent video of disc golf. How hard it is to use two cameras to show the throw and the landing?

    • @bradleyworthy2107
      @bradleyworthy2107 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Its not that hard but it requires more people. Check out some of the major disc golf coverage channels and youll see it in action! Jomez is probably the most popular but there are several others that are really good too.

    • @gromba
      @gromba 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you show the throw and the landing you mess up the angle for the viewer. The best is if you can have a camera from behind who can track the whole shot. Imo, disc golf channels make a mistake by switching to a second camera.

    • @bradleyworthy2107
      @bradleyworthy2107 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gromba I disagree. On most professional holes you cannot see the later part of the throw unless it switches angles. But thats ok if you prefer it that way!

    The drone shots could be atleast three times faster, they got boring really quick. Also you dont need to wait for the drone to go 1ft close to the pin before cutting out, its just boring. The fact that on almost every tee you could see the pin and the way Eagle was explaining every hole, there was no actual need for the drone shots at all. The vid is too long.

      @@brian6speed I am pretty sure their channels goal is to draw more people to watch their videos and subscribe for them to get more money from ads. There are 2 main things about this video, Eagle Mcmahon and the course "Krokhol". People who never knew Eagle or "Krokhol" course, which would be more appealing to click the video; 39min long or perhaps 12min long video? Also if you shared a 39 min video to your friends, would they take the effort to watch it?
