Excellent footage from a more simpler time! When good dress, decorum and manners mattered!
Buildings that are a century old look better than the glass monstrosities that exist today.
I, for one, am so grateful that you didn't feel the need to colourize this amazing footage!
Wish there was footage of the CNE grounds from early 1900s that shows all the beautiful buildings that were burnt or torn down.
6:51 is, I assume, a reference to Mary Pickford.
2:51 - Wow Toronto deleted a bunch of big buildings to make the Eaton Centre and ugly office towers.
just recently as well, now we got ungodly large glass structures and give no sense of character then windows into the lives of people.
A few shots of the old land registry building, Temple building and Commerce CT North....plus many others...
04:35 looks like it was taken from old city hall looking southbound down Bay St.
No graffiti.. Well dressed people with nice hats.

Not a cell phone or bike lane to be found…Toronto before the clutter…
