Rye on 3rd St., Laughing Planet, Silva’s Taqueria Autentica Comida Oaxaquena food truck in Friendly neighborhood, Royal India near Valley River Center.
My #1 goes to Placido’s Pasta Shop x) Honorary mentions to Bar Purlieu and Rye on 3rd. As for Springfield- George and Violets steakhouse takes the cake!
@@CarolynSteppSmartLiving The owners are the son and the daughter-in-law of friends of mine. It’s not a mainstream type of restaurant, to fit in a top 10 list, while at the same time it fits into a few of the cultural areas that make Eugene interesting. I mean, the restaurant draws customers from beyond its neighborhood. And even beyond Eugene.
@@idratherberiding3456 I think top 10 lists should be exceptional food. Isakaya Meiji was exceptional in Eugene. There is nothing exceptional about the Glenwood, in my opinion. The Glenwood would be a local restaurant for those that like chain style restaurant food.
I'm surprised you didn't have Cornbread Cafe on your list. Yeah, it's all vegan, but you wouldn't know the difference. The old diner atmosphere is awesome there and the staff is wonderful in my experience.
Brails Restaurant has the best breakfast in town!
Yes! That is also one of our favourites!
I really enjoy Tacovore my wife is vegan I’m a meat eater but they have both for us cool vibe, and the Margaritas are awesome.
Tacovore is also one of my favorites!

Great suggestions! We love Laughing Planet and Royal India

Thanks for the suggestions and for not leaving out underrated Springfield!
Thank you, Carolyn. This was great. We will reach out to you soon! Cheers!
Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you!
Isakaya Meiji. It is a unique experience, Japanese tavern style food and American whiskey.
I need to try it out soon! Thanks for the suggestion

Where do you get a normal steak and potatoes meal?
Someone recently told me Cafe Soriah had great steak, however there are always the classic chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse
Good list. Have never tried number 5 on your list.
The Davis (Olive and Broadway) really deserves to be in the top ten.
Agree. My favorite restaurant in Eugene.
Yes the Davis is excellent!
Newman’s Fish Market!
Excellent choice.
What about Soriah’s on 13th? It’s really delicious with a bent on Mideast flavors. They have excellent wines and a full bar. It’s a staple of Eugene.
I need to create a bigger list! You are sooo correct!

I thought they closed down a while ago?
@@eveningstar8581 They did close unfortunately
Yes that was a good one! I wish they were still open

Brails! Best Hangover Breakfast! - Not that I've ever had a hangover 🤣
I like Rye. Some of the restaurants on your list I don’t care for at all. Not a foodie list….
Thank you for your suggestion!
Fisherman’s market! Nelson’s Taqueria!! Good times bar!
Amazing Additions!
Arekie Food Cart is one of the best things in Eugene.
I need to try that one out!
Cafe Yumm is the best!
Love that local spot too! Need to add that to our list!
I live in Eugene but have Celiac disease so it is hard to eat out and feel safe. Tasty Thai is a great option.
I love Tasty Thai!!!
Biggest Miss, Chef's Kitchen.
and Mezza Luna for pizza 🍕🍕
Mezza Luna is one of my favorite for pizza!
Eugene is the place you want to go to, if your doctor tells you that you have 6 months to live, because everyday seems like an eternity
You could always move to Idaho. Bye Felicia!!!!!
I moved to southern California, Newport beach! Beautiful women everywhere! Never looking back!
@@Williammorningcrow enjoying the taxes?
