I was an international student in Malaysia. It's been a year since I came back to my home country. I've been craving for mamak food for a while
Satay are Indonesian food and many more food in Malaysia actually Indonesian's original. Just a litte fact knowledge. You can Google it yourself to confirm too
As an Indian it's so cool seeing representation of us in other such asian countries! Throughout the video you can see little specks of our culture starting from the naan (which looks delicious!) and then in the batu caves which is actually a Hindu temple as well with the statue being one of our gods, known as Murugan! It's super cool and it was nice seeing you have a nice time in malaysia too! :D
as a malaysian im really grateful for this!!!! i actually visit mamak everyday and eat roti almost everytime LOL my favorite are thosai/dosai and naan!! especially naan cheese its so tasty T^T indian foods and cultures are hella amazing!

I totally agree with everything you said - gorgeous art, fantastic world-building and story, and off the charts creative magical system. Thank you for promoting Witch Atelier. I've read the series since long ago. Its such a great manga but hardly gets the recognition it deserves. I totally agree with the points u mentioned. While the plot revolves around teenagers, it does have dark moments. Also, the magic system is very well thought of. Mostly based on magic circles. The rest of the video? Absolute wholesome. Please do visit again. I was busy & didnt get to see Shirahama sensei 😭
Honestly I was surprised by her pronouncing Qifrey’s name as “Kee-free,” while I pronounce it as “chee-frei.” Besides the pronunciation confusion, I’m also really happy that I found someone talking about WHA in the comments! It’s such an underrated manga.
I don’t have many happy moments but watching yours is just as great, makes me remember to smile and feel giddy you’re energy always seems to rub off on me when I’m down. Thank you!

Not sure if you'll ever read this but I was one of the few lucky ones to have gone to each and every one of your sessions including the improptu ones. You were so kind to me and my friend (who btw, I literally met for the first time during your panel and basically bonded over our shared interest, which is you in case you didn't catch that) when we were literally the first 2 people who arrived at your impromptu signing session and managed to chat with you for a bit. You truly made us happy, so happy in fact that we forgot to take pictures with you during that time 😂. Luckily I managed to finally take a picture with you during the quite rushed signing session but it was still a great time, found more new friends who I bonded over our shared interest in you. So yeah, just wanna say you've definitely made the con one of best con experiences I've ever been a part of, so thank you so much for that!!! Hope that you'll return to Malaysia soon👋

@@animeboys_simp8453 well i guess it is exists in other country but its pretty rare to find one. But in asia especially the southeast asia, youll find alot of them especially on mamak restaurant. Just ask "boss, 1 milo bungkus ikat tepi" and thats it, you got your milo juice in the bag😂
@@animeboys_simp8453 it exists in Singapore (Malaysia’s small Southern neighbour) too, and yes it is just a drink served in a bag. It’s meant to be for taxi drivers and such who can hang it off a hook in their cab to drink while on the go, or just to be held by the string while walking (the drink inside may be uncomfortably hot if it’s freshly brewed coffee or cold if it’s an iced drink so holding it by the bag isn’t possible)

We have mostly instant simpe beverages inside plastic bag.
Milo, tea, syrup. We even have cola in powder sachet and drink it from plastic bag (Yes, most cheap drinks here are pretty instant. If you wanna have a cheap cappuccino coffee, it has to be from a sachet and not a freshly brewed one).

When you eat durian for the first time it usually doesn't taste good for you but when you eat it for the 2nd time 3rd time 4th time and 5th time, it starts to taste good. You have to get used to eating durian.
Nasi Lemak at 1 am is not rare for Malaysians, that's why Mamak places are 24 hours. You're REALLY getting the authentic Malaysian experience off the bat lol.
That said, I'm so happy you enjoyed your visit to my home country!! I couldn't go during the con, but even I was surprised by how welcoming and sweet you were greeted there! Also even as a local I can relate with how you feel with Durian 😂

YAY, I was wondering if she would post about this. I’m a cosplayer and i went to animangaki, it was so crowded but was totally worth it. I saw the guest list and saw that she was there, so i watched a bit of the vod afterward.
Glad you enjoyed yourself here in Malaysia and actually tried out some of our dishes like the nasi lemak and the all famous durian. Though I would say that that fruit gets better the more you eat it, I hated it too last time when I was small but as I ate I grew accustomed to it. I was also actually queuing for your last signing session but there was a WHOLE lot of people and I didn't want to miss the concert on the main stage. Hope you come back again next year so that I can get your signature T_T

God, that trip was so sweet I wouldve gotten diabetes on it. And thats literally since the snacks look so so sooo good that Id gorge myself on them until Im sick to the core.
