Happy New Year! So glad to see a video from you. It's a pretty place, they must have charged for tent camping and bird watching tours at one time. Someone is still taking care of the basics. You take care! Waiting for the next one.
I worked there for Little River Goldfields from Jan '83-Dec '84.The original shed was built by us for a workshop and soil sampling/ geo tech preparation. The bunk house was added long after exploration stopped in '85. The stables housed the Lister generator which powered the house and buildings. The courthouse burnt down due to a fault with a fridge pilot light while the caretakers were in Grafton shopping! I have been back many times since and it holds a special place in my memory for many reasons.
My father loved your talking about his tiles and rock bath... Those rocks where sourced from the river... The first room with all the bunks was mine and my brothers and fathers room the bunks where put their by parks when my father's boss sold the property for them when they where doing work out their
It's so good to hear about some of the history of the town from someone that actually lived there. You would have known who lived in the old fibro place with the orchard. Thank you for watching.
Thanks Michael, that was terrific. You are sounding great so I hope your health is as good as it can be. Have a ripper 2022 and more adventures to keep us enjoying your travels. Good cheer, Ken
Hi Michael, I hope you are well, happy new year. I am wondering with the mention of tents if they used all of that area of grass for the tents and the building with bunks as a hostel ??, it would make sense. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Beautiful area to camp. Glad to see you enjoying nature again. The open building was educational, no wonder they used a bong. Mining towns were full til the gold runs out. Then it becomes a ghost town in the American west... Great video. Happy to see you are doing better health wise. Still praying for you...
Look out.yowies about..I've heard of sightings out that way, interesting to see it as graffiti. Giggled at the little wave and bye bongs.Ta for the vid mate
So excited to see you back xxx
Thanks, Michael. Cool explore video! Always enjoy your vids! ☮️💟🎶
Nice to see you again, my friend. Happy New Year!

Happy new year 😊✌️🎉2022
This was interesting. What a pity it’s no longer preserved.
That was quite interesting, maybes used for scientists studying wildlife perhaps.
I'm always excited to see an upload from you Michael - and while the ads play through I come and check-out the comments (that way you'll benefit).

How are you doing? I hope you are feeling better my friend. I wish they took better care of the buildings
What a shame that the stables are falling down! I thought that they might have preserved it all! History is important!
