    I think you were very respectful and it is plain that you are just telling someone's story. It is so sad what people go through after a devastating event. Thank you for showing us and making us grateful for what we have.

    Hello Michael Thank you for showing us this very sad property and in a very respectful way. I can't believe people write nasty comments to you when all you are doing is documenting a devastating event. Fires, floods - what are we doing to our beloved planet 🌏? Hope you're doing OK? Gill 🇬🇧

    Absolutely devastating. My heart breaks for y’all. After hurricanes in Florida, people get very little help too. Years later homes have tarps covering their roofs and it’s so sad.

    So sad:( It reminds me of the destruction caused by Superstorm Sandy here in New Jersey, USA, nearly 10years ago. Anyone who was near the bay or ocean had flooded homes, and now all replacement or new build homes must be built on pilings to raise them above mean low tide. I hope such measures may be considered in NSW. I hope you continue to recover from the Lismore floods, Mike. Best of all possible luck❤

    Hi, I came here thanks to Urbex Indigo, when he recommended visited your channel in one of his older explorations. So much devastation, my heart goes to all the people who lost everything, it is so sad. Thank you for sharing.

    That is heartbreaking to see that they lost everything but I am thankful they made it out alive when others didn't. We lost 99% of our belongings in a house fire when I was a pre teen. my number one fear is of drowning so when it rains a lot I keep tabs on the rivers on three sides of us. Good to see you back and hope the house is getting finished soon.

    This breaks my heart and it's certainly gives you a reality check it may be myself and other people I know are so lucky I finally it's taking two years for me to live in and this certainly humbles me I'm really grateful to have a roof over my head even if it is in the backyard ❤️🐈 Melbourne Australia

    My heart hurts for all who experienced such losses on top of the dilemma they're now faced with of where to go & what to do? How do I eat, sleep, work & go on? So relieved you have been able to get back into your home & slowly but surely build it back to a place that looks & feels like home again. Love you, Michael... hang in there. 🙏😊🙏

    Hi Michael glad you're OK !
    I was very worried you might have gotten flooded out again. It's so devastating ,
    What has been happening in Australia I think about this horrible flooding constantly.
    It's a very hopeless feeling when I want to help people but there's nothing I can do !
    But I'm so happy you're OK 😘😘

    Grew up in flood plain…floods every year…moved everything in house to second floor…remember the clean up…the river was polluted at that time…we cleaned ip…but I am sure the month it took to dry the plaster and floors….left some bad chemicals in our house. Dams and locks etc have prevented many a flood since back then…but with climate warming and two huge rains…..it could wash us all away.

    Governments everywhere seem to ignore things like this and eventually people stop asking for help. Out of sight out of mind is an old saying. I am happy that I live on the side of a rocky hill here in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. If we get flooded it will be time to build another ark.

    • @lindaknight3771
      @lindaknight3771 ปีที่แล้ว

      I read up on it, that is what these people thought too! I grew up on the Ohio River…lived thru floods and moving upstairs or out to the hills…it has not had any major floods in a long time…locks and dams were built and we have been safer. I now live south of there and thought…that ark thing…well, after see this…

    We had a flood last year in the south, our minister president said we will pay for everything........................... they are still waiting for money, very sad these things.
