I guess when Lin was lost in space Kath went to NY to her parents, it's too painful to wait cause no one knows if the Astronauts died or still alive. After few years she went back to settle their property in Thailand, she might sell it to forget everyting and move on. Cause all their memories started there in the Photo Shop, maybe it's the printing machine, that started the miracle. Or maybe the camera with Lin? Then they keep meeting each other in different parallel universe. And in each universe they fell in love over again. But every ending is tragic. That's why Lin said that maybe they will find a Universe to start over again where they can live without pain.. 😢
