Not necessarily, a left side hitter in zone 2 can still pass on the left side so long as the middle blocker and setter are to the left of him, as they are. The left side hitter may pass on the left or right side, so long as the setter and middle blocker are to the left of his position.
Yyeeahh, at 6:00 #15 looked way over the 10ft line on that back row attack.. And I thought the only time ya couldn't play off the ceiling was when it hit the ceiling then went over the net.
Kris Kurkowski One of my favorite plays to run as a coach (and as a setter). The middle blocker gets used to leaning in to cover the 31. Not to mention that the outside block had to stay with the setter. Awesome.
2:58 is actually Carthage's point. Hanson either tooled the block into the antenna or their opposite touched the antenna. Either way the call was wrong
Pause at 6:00 ... I remember seeing #15 at JOs in Minnes... from Puerto Rico

Awesome.
Number 15 on the white team is a beast

ooh wow!
play is legal, he is in zone 2 in the front row (next server), dropping back to pass.
only if it stays on your own side of the net, if it hits the ceiling then goes over the net its out of bounds
you don't know what you're talking about....they shifted so he can pass since hes the outside
No, he was only in the back row to pass, he was in the front row
is this rule only in usa?
6:00 why is he division 3? Both these teams look at least like they should be at the d2 level
4:12 The ball can touch the roof?
zone 3 actually he would be on the right side of the court if he was in zone 2
if the ball doesnt go over the net after it hits the roof, yes. otherwise no.
5:56 =0
play is illegal, he hit from in front the attack line in the back court
At last! A real match in which not ALL the players are better than I am!
4:12
well american created the game wouldn't it make more sense to implies using their rule?

In a lot of sports division 3 is better then division 2 for whatever reason.
