Stewart rs4 we thought we had but it was fake. Send it to the mint signed and enclose a cheque for £20 (that they may or may not cash and might send you back) if it’s real you’ll have their letter as provenance and that will take the value from anything from £100 to four figures - I couldn’t say how much they are too rare. Once you have the letter see Christys or one of those top auction houses
Why is everyone moaning about not seeing the coins, if your collecting coins you must know what they are and what they look like .leave Ian alone he's doing a grand job and just trying to help people out

hi Ian, I have in my possession 3 very rare coins, I gathered in the past 3 years, they have serious errors and are genuinely RARE but when I put them on ebay they disappear in the ocean of coins, do you know someone who buys rare coins ? thanks :)

It depends on what they are you would do better doing a share deal with a dealer as a dealer will always want to buy cheap but a price on condition of sale would get you more
Great Video - I am a total novice to coin collecting but I am about to start getting into it. I found this really handy. Last night I got in my change a 50p called the Battle Of Hastings but I am really confused about its value, some selling for crazy prices some for £1.50.. can anyone help me please?
Decide Motivation sure, it’s not worth much it’s quite common £2-£3 depending on condition, take no notice of the crazy prices always check my prices first then you’ll know

After seeing this video, I bought 5 EU dual dates, one loose, 4 in BUNC packs and sets. Average cost was around £60. Looking on eBay now they're heading for 3 figures, 12 months later...So GOOD CALL !

100,000 is only rare because there might be 200,000 people that want it!! Having said that it is a great hobby and a great feeling finding that 'rare' coin!

Rob Banx there are two with the stars, 1992/1992 presidency of the council of ministers - 1998 presidency of the European Union. 1st one worth £100 ish and the second one worth around £3 - I have had many people buy the 1998 and get angry because they wanted the 1992/3.

If you're counting the shields from sets, should you count the 19.751 Blue Peter Athletics 2009 Olympic ? Incredibly I got one in circulation this year ! Someone must have bust it out of a set !! Royal Mint made 100,000 sets but they weren't popular and admitted that only a minute 19,751 BUNC packs were actually sold.
