This was WAY better than I thought it would be; LOVE the horses, mules, and Ray Teal (sheriff Coffee on Bonanza), here playing the same type of humble, laconic, man of integrity.
Aren't they though! And they've done so much for us. An older lady told me "when I was young, everyone had horses and only rich people had cars. Now everyone has cars and only rich people have horses!" Amazing 🌹
William Bishop - Kathy Crowley - Ricard Webb - All modest effective Low budget performers - who always gave their all in every performance Shes a really attractive woman - not a bad movie - sure beats the hell out of Fast & the Furious # 34
Tom, the freight driver, was played by Richard Webb who acted in plenty of movies and TV guest appearances - but was probably most famous for his role in the 1950s as the head of a Secret Squadron fighting espionage in 'Captain Midnight'.
fun movie, with every western cliche in the book and a lot of familiar character actors who's names I don't know except Percy Helton, the weaselly nebbish....Ray Teal sheriff Coffee of Bonanza..
News Alert to Wild Westerners, and Serious Sane Listeners, I have watched William Bishop, cast as a highly profiled Supporting Star in Numerous TV and Movie Westerners, primarily as a deceiving and conning Bad Guy. He could always catch the lady, who was a Co-Star, but didn't have the power to keep them. That said, this is the first time I have seen him, in a Star Role, and ended up with the Lady. Just a Talkie Talk Thought, and Real Inquiry, if his mysterious death at the age of 41, cut his career short of becoming a Major Star.
They reused a lot of stock footage over and over. 47:20 I've seen this exact footage in at least 5 other movies. There's also a lot of stock footage around those rocks at the former Iverson movie ranch. Speaking of which, most of these areas are long gone and are now just more depressing ditto copy suburbs with their cookie-cutter stores, i.e. walgreens, cvs, fast food chains, home depot. Too bad we can't rewind the clocks yet.
ANACHRONISM: The setting appears to be in the 1880s but the head bad guy, Martin Maroon (played by Hugh Sanders) is wearing a modern necktie that wasn't invented until 1924.
Because this was a Columbia B western some of chase scenes appear to be from earlier and higher budgeted Columbia westerns that were shot at Lone Pine, California and Kanab Utah.

Nothing better than watxging western from the late 40's to the mid 70's. JUST GREAT!!!

A very good western movie, enjoyable to watch. The actors were very good in their roles.Thank you,for showing this film.
Indubidubly 🙂
Horses are amazing creatures.
Aren't they though! And they've done so much for us. An older lady told me "when I was young, everyone had horses and only rich people had cars. Now everyone has cars and only rich people have horses!" Amazing 🌹
The sequence @ 47:11 - 47:26 is easily the most visually striking in the entire hour plus, worthy of a better film -- perhaps something by a Ford.

Almost like they were put here for us!
@@johnharris7353 Yeah, like if there were no horses, there would be no Westerns. Freaky!

Ray Teal …Born Sheriff and a veteran. Future Sheriff in Bonanza and his dialogue delivery has been superb.. Thanks from India
First time bishop a good guy in western under rated actor.

Good movie but then I always enjoy movies with Sheriff Roy Coffee/Ray Teal in them.
Yes, I like him too
Roy Coffee rocks
ESTA FALTANDO LEGENDAS ESTAMOS NO BRASIL
One of the best stagecoach chases in the movies. The snow covered peaks at 1:00:03 - pretty spectacular.
The horses deserve an Oscar !
Horse chase is way better than a car chase.
I'd argue against that.
Indubidubly 🙂
Veteran actor Ray Teal often played Western sheriffs. Ray Nazarro directed well over four dozen Westerns and action movies during his career.
I have watched most of western movies since 2,020 when Covid 19 happened
love the way the sheriff makes sure his hat is on straight every time he's knocked to the ground when they beat him up around 51 minutes in.
A very good B Western indeed!
Well done movie with good character actors .
William Bishop..als0 my fav0rite C0wb0y movies.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍
Enjoyable movie. Big fan of Frank Ferguson. Thanks for posting.
love this movie and have watched a lot of westerns: never seen so many commercials!

Great story line.

Amo muito filmes desse gênero e melhor ainda legendados em português e vou me inscrever no seu canal agora mesmo, recomendo e obrigado pela postagem!

Percy Helton always a great performer with his indefectible voice.
Lots of impressive stunts and wrangling in this flick. 'Guess it's what real cowboys do when on vacation. Thanks W.W.
👍 hilariously nice 💕
Really fine
Good movie!

Six horses coaches not easy to drive
NO HORSES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS MOVIE.
Didn't see jet Jackson in many movies unless I missed them
EXCELLENT! . Western.. on of the best I’ve seen. Except he didn’t get the girl .. 😔
Well, he could pull that stagecoach over most anywhere.

Great Film!!!!!!!!!
Funny how the mules changed in to horses 😅😅😅😅😅

This was better than its title. As usual interminable chases, but you can fast forward through them 😎
Why not?
I was just getting into the film when at the five minute mark up came a commercial. Thumbs down. I'll watch something else.
For once Bishop acted as a Hero has a good personality but a murky smile
Ok movie
It’s fun picking out the bits that were taken from “Stage to Tucson” from about 1950. A partial remake
🤠👍🏿
Sadly our star, William Bishop, played baddie far more than goodie

Just a speed question: does it really take so long for a man on horse to reach a running wagon ?
❤
What a maroon……BB

Bom faroeste!
I don’t like Hayden. Something about him is just annoying
His smile I think.
Too many breaks. Ruins the movie
All I really am seeing is repeated horse and mule abuse.
too many ads every 3-4 minutes made someone stupid there
