- In an unnamed country at an unspecified time, there is a fiercely protected post-apocalyptic wasteland known as The Zone. An illegal guide (Aleksandr Kajdanovsky), whose mutant child suggests unspeakable horrors within The Zone, leads a writer (Anatoliy Solonitsyn) and a scientist (Nikolay Grinko) into the heart of the devastation in search of a mythical place known only as The Room. Anyone who enters The Room will supposedly have any of his earthly desires immediately fulfilled.
Music Used:
Edward Artemiev - Meditation
Colin Stetson - Among The Sef (Righteous II) - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Is that the music from the Uzimaki trailer?!?
Holy fuck, this is what inspired the stalker games. Insane.
Both the film and games were inspired by the book "The roadside picnic" written by Strugatzki brothers. The screenplay for this film was also written by them.
Yeah russians invented it, and ukrainians pretend it's theirs :P
You did a great job stringing together the quotes.
One of the most beautiful films out there! Excellent video!!
A work of genius.
Love the inclusion of the Stalker's prayer!
Well done!!! Also, I loved the utilization of Colin Stetson's Among the Sef
Stalker. Super Andrei Tarkovski.
awesome editing!
Deep philosophy, very complex and beautiful photography.
Masterpiece.
Get out of here stalker
Great job
I like how noone notices how he just stole the trailer from criterion
You did, genius.
**ROFLcopter**
Who is criterion?
I thought he gave Criterion credit near the opening of this trailer. No?
Not one of your better ones… You missed showing a rise in dramatic action, the kinetic movements of the vehicles, etc… It was flat and had a weird soundtrack. This is one of my favorite all time films and this trailer isn’t a good exemplification of what’s in store.
Let's see you do better than. What? You can't? Figured.
@@denisd3639 your response is childish. I feel bad for you. The criterion trailer is far superior.
This is great news. I haven’t seen the film and am glad the trailer didn’t tell the whole story the way they do now - it’s compelling and I want to watch it now.
Iv heard this is amazing but the trailer looks terrible?! I thought it was about a guy who loots alien technology from a radioactive zone?
Wtf... no Stalker game or anything has alien technology lol
The film is a VERY loose adaptation of the book, in that it just does its own thing.
@@kajmak64bit76he refers to Roadside Picnic, which does.
@@peppermillers8361 i don't know never read the book... sadly
