I was also diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma around that time in life and it is a serious demotivator/stressor. Please make it abundantly apparent to your brother that there are Counseling options available if he feels like it. I don't know if it will help but as a kid I had lots of doctor appointments so when my mom asked me how I was handling it I just told her "its just a few more doctor appointments." It really is a lot more than that and I can assume being that age he will only try to hide his true emotions about it so please make sure he knows there are people who have beat it and continue living. It truly does suck to hear stuff like this but I hope your brother doesn't have much chemo and radiation to do.

Delete social media, reconnect with people IN REAL LIFE, go on daily walks or runs around natural areas, exercise, set daily goals for yourself (they can be small, like “cook a meal today”), find a hobby you could put yourself into (cooking, gardening, fitness, getting a pet, drawing, etc), go to social events around your area and treat yourself occasionally. You don’t have to do all these things to be happier, but I recommend you do some at first. Better mental health is all about taking the next step every single day. It’s a process you entirely control, which makes it feel rewarding and self-fulfilling. I know you can do it Thirumuri. Remember that there’s someone out there who really cares about you and I do too.

So, I don't really like commenting on other cc's vids, but this one turned out highly relatable. I am in deep depression for more than 5 years, my granddad passed away cuz of cancer when I was 12 (he was like a father to me) and life is not so enjoyable for me in general. So, the biggest thing I've got from my experience is understanding that the more things you've witnessed and realized, the more dark and traumatizing things you'll find. And it's not just your own thing, but inevitable force of society's evolution. Ppl nowadays are getting more stressed in general, cuz the amount of info around us is growing rapidly and it's hard to keep up with everything. They will be frustrated and angry at themselves, family, friends and basically everyone around, cuz they just cannot cope with so much negativity in their way and instinctively want it to go away, but have no idea how or resources to do so. Basically, with more choices comes more uncertainty, so only way to beat it is to decide and get rid of regrets of doing so. In any case, it's the journey of your life and your way to decide what you want to be. It won't be pleasant all the time, but still - struggle and stay strong for all that's left and can be experienced in the future. When you find yourself in really bad life spot, feeling that something got broken or there is no way to get it back - try to not cycle thoughts around this specific situation, but rather ask yourself for alternatives. There are still a lot of positive things in the world, just don't try to wrap your head with the ashes of missed opportunities, but take them as a lesson for getting better in any way. And yeah, you did the right thing when you told your community about all this, cuz every being need some sort of external support. I know that in most cultures telling somebody about your struggle can be seen as weakness, but in any case it's not that. Anyway, I hope that your brother will soon get better and other situations will clear too. All you can do is believe and try not to lose the grip on your life while doing what you can and want to.

My father was diagnosed with Lymphoma a number of years ago and I'm happy to say he's now an old man in his 70s. Your absolutely right that it's one of the most treatable forms of cancer. It still sucks, obviously, but it's a situation that can improve more easily than other scenarios.

I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I also have Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 2b, i was diagnosed right after i had my daughter. I went through 12 rounds of ABVD chemo this past year and am in remission currently. Im not gonna lie, chemo sucks ( i mean obviously, but you dont really realize how much it sucks until you go through it) However, once you start chemo, you get into a routine and learn what your symptoms are, what days are usually your worst and it helps you learn how to get ahead of it. Also hodkins lymphoma has incredibly high sucess rates. My doctor told me " no one wants cancer but if you put all the cancers in a hat, this would be the one you'd want to pull out" not really amusing but hopefully that gives you some piece of mind in some way. 💜

Hodgkin's lymphona has a high survival rate, it is the more common kind of cancer in younger generations. I wish you the best and the odds are in his favor on this. I hope you and your family gets through this. I cannot really be of my help financially as I have no job. I am in a hard situation myself, struggling to find work and I am already 34, still single. Life can be harsh , hope it turns around for both of us.

My heart goes out to you. Something I have learned from being beaten down by trauma and rough life events back to back (10 years of bad stuff occurred in the span of one year for me) is to step back, stare at the wall, and just admit that you have no control over a lot of it and that you are not doing well. Especially as a content creator where I can only imagine how much you bottle up to give your community a happy smile every video it can get exhausting faking that. Give yourself the space to really be upset, be mad, be sad. It is unhealthy to be happy all the time and this sounds like a really intense time for you. I know I would be depressed and overwhelmed and I cannot imagine trying to handle all these things at once and honestly, I don't think anyone could. Handle em one at a time as you need to and give yourself that time and space you need. Have moments of overwhelm and really just keep being authentic. So, I don't really like commenting on other cc's vids, but this one turned out highly relatable.
I am in deep depression for more than 5 years, my granddad passed away cuz of cancer when I was 12 (he was like a father to me) and life is not so enjoyable for me in general.
So, the biggest thing I've got from my experience is understanding that the more things you've witnessed and realized, the more dark and traumatizing things you'll find. And it's not just your own thing, but inevitable force of society's evolution. Ppl nowadays are getting more stressed in general, cuz the amount of info around us is growing rapidly and it's hard to keep up with everything. They will be frustrated and angry at themselves, family, friends and basically everyone around, cuz they just cannot cope with so much negativity in their way and instinctively want it to go away, but have no idea how or resources to do so. Basically, with more choices comes more uncertainty, so only way to beat it is to decide and get rid of regrets of doing so.
In any case, it's the journey of your life and your way to decide what you want to be. It won't be pleasant all the time, but still - struggle and stay strong for all that's left and can be experienced in the future. When you find yourself in really bad life spot, feeling that something got broken or there is no way to get it back - try to not cycle thoughts around this specific situation, but rather ask yourself for alternatives. There are still a lot of positive things in the world, just don't try to wrap your head with the ashes of missed opportunities, but take them as a lesson for getting better in any way. And yeah, you did the right thing when you told your community about all this, cuz every being need some sort of external support. I know that in most cultures telling somebody about your struggle can be seen as weakness, but in any case it's not that.
Anyway, I hope that your brother will soon get better and other situations will clear too. All you can do is believe and try not to lose the grip on your life while doing what you can and want to.

My father was diagnosed with Lymphoma a number of years ago and I'm happy to say he's now an old man in his 70s. Your absolutely right that it's one of the most treatable forms of cancer. It still sucks, obviously, but it's a situation that can improve more easily than other scenarios.

I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I also have Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 2b, i was diagnosed right after i had my daughter. I went through 12 rounds of ABVD chemo this past year and am in remission currently. Im not gonna lie, chemo sucks ( i mean obviously, but you dont really realize how much it sucks until you go through it) However, once you start chemo, you get into a routine and learn what your symptoms are, what days are usually your worst and it helps you learn how to get ahead of it. Also hodkins lymphoma has incredibly high sucess rates. My doctor told me " no one wants cancer but if you put all the cancers in a hat, this would be the one you'd want to pull out" not really amusing but hopefully that gives you some piece of mind in some way. 💜
Thank you Brax for being honest and vulnerable with us. I remember one of my loved ones passing from cancer and wouldn't want this on anyone else. However, I assure you that you brother will make a full recovery. He has a bright future ahead of him and you too have a fun journey ahead of you as well.

Hodgkin's lymphona has a high survival rate, it is the more common kind of cancer in younger generations. I wish you the best and the odds are in his favor on this. I hope you and your family gets through this. I cannot really be of my help financially as I have no job. I am in a hard situation myself, struggling to find work and I am already 34, still single. Life can be harsh , hope it turns around for both of us.

My heart goes out to you. Something I have learned from being beaten down by trauma and rough life events back to back (10 years of bad stuff occurred in the span of one year for me) is to step back, stare at the wall, and just admit that you have no control over a lot of it and that you are not doing well.
Especially as a content creator where I can only imagine how much you bottle up to give your community a happy smile every video it can get exhausting faking that. Give yourself the space to really be upset, be mad, be sad. It is unhealthy to be happy all the time and this sounds like a really intense time for you. I know I would be depressed and overwhelmed and I cannot imagine trying to handle all these things at once and honestly, I don't think anyone could.
Handle em one at a time as you need to and give yourself that time and space you need. Have moments of overwhelm and really just keep being authentic. I watch your vids because I like your content and personality, but you are human. Be human!
