Yeah. For me, it seems like the soundtrack of DeS is (generally) slow and tense, while the other Soulsborne games are mostly faster and more epic. I like all of the Soulsborne games' soundtracks, but i just love the feeling that DeS gives with its music.
It's almost like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne had different composers with their own styles. :P Not to mention one of the composers of Bloodborne went on to work on Dark Souls III.

I hated this game at first. I bought a PS3 around 2010 and got this game and a few others that were on sale, gave it a try and put it down for a few months. After going through everything else, I picked this up again and struggled my way through 1-1 and 1-2, got to tower knight, died a few times, finally knock him down, celebrate, then die promptly as he lands right on top of me. That's the moment that made me fall in love with this game. Ended up playing it for a solid year after that and met a lot of good friends. Honestly one of my best experiences in vidya

Yeah, the soundtrack in the remake is my biggest issue with it. Pretty much every track was downgraded, in terms of my personal taste anyway. Everything that made the original OST special and atmospheric is gone now, the remake's OST is basically a pale imitation of Bloodborne music. Demon's Souls no longer feels as unique.

Ok for one, Remaster and Remake are completely interchangeable. Idk why this is still such a debate, the proof is in the various games that use these terms. New to the demons souls remake and I gotta admit this one is much better
Whenever i fight a big slow shielded humanoid with metal armor. I immediately get this theme stuck in my head.

I like how they split certain leitmotifs between the two new themes
I remember being so intimidated when I saw the Tower Knight for the first time. Replaying it he's pretty easy though.
I laughed my ass off the first time I saw him just because of the vocals in this song. Lol
Most bosses in Demon's Soul are gimmicky fights, Tower Knights especially. But still a really intimidate boss when first encountered.

@@nicolasaguilar3551 what makes this unique is the "laugh" tho, completely removed, and they added tons of crap on top of it, thats an issue with the whole soundtrack, they added so much stuff on top of it, they try to make everything sound grand and epic, when that was not the point of the original sound track

@@nicolasaguilar3551 let me explain it is not bad it feels like a different game it is good but not demons souls go play the original it feels much less grand grim and you are always on the edge of your seat every boss fight due to the ost being so brassy and grim it shows what situation you are in and the rest of the world is the new one is basically a dark souls game you feel like Hercules for gods sake and the epic atmosphere does not help it is a different game they changed what was great about the game and left what needed changing it is a shame

i found the Dragonslayer Armour moveset real entertaining to fight because of the "brawler" style of fighting, while Penetrator was great because of the elegance of its moveset.
This is both hilarious and extremely menacing

This kind of music is made to get you tense and nervous, it works really well. Playing the ps3 version always gets me anxious going into fights especially when the fight ramps up. The remake is just a lot of cluttered background noise and is “epic” but it’s the wrong feeling for demons souls

Ok for one, Remaster and Remake are completely interchangeable. Idk why this is still such a debate, the proof is in the various games that use these terms. Second you asshats calling us nostalgia blind fools should maybe go look at the fact that they shut down the servers a couple years ago. You'd also find out that a lot of the fanbase had gone back to play the game then as well. A lot of players have the game pretty fresh in their head and since a fourth of the game is essentially gone, the remake is the definitive way to play and they have done some big changes which funnily enough non of them were to fix the janky ass gameplay.
You Remake White Knights somehow are more cringe than Dark Souls elitists from the 2012 - 2014 days.

If they dont, it'll be a shitty remake. These OST'S are responsible for my love for bloodborne, dark souls and dark souls 3. I don't play because its hard, I play to get my ass owned with an epic/sad orchestra in the background and the tower knight is the first ost that woke that side of me

I love the boss music of ds 1,2,3 and BB. But epic as they are, none come close to the sheer frenzy of urgency and despair that Demons souls burries into the player. Its like you are extremely pumped to go at the boss like a rabid hollow but you know that if you do, you'll get wrecked.

What the remake did to this theme in particular is an absolute disgrace. FFVII Remake's OST shows how you revitalize the music without spitting on the original.
