the more and more i watch hyper-realistic artists i am noticing they are masters of illusion. they create these hyper-realistic depictions with bold strokes of paint, sometimes leaving the bristles of the brush stroke visible for effect, and yet when viewed in the paintings entirety its like a photograph. Genius. Ive seen some smooth out everything like Caravaggio and some leave playful hatching or swishes with their brushes like Rembrandt or a combination of the two...just. so. amazing.

J'aime bien ce que vous dites ,et la vidéo est agréable .La musique de fond est très agréable et va bien avec les mots ,et la peinture .Ce cerf est émotif ..J'irai même un peu + loin ,en disant qu'on dirait que vous êtes inspiré par la paix .

Oczywiscie kazdy posiada wlasna technike malowania, i kazda jest bardzo ciekawa gdy oglada sie wykonane przez malarzy obrazy. Jestem troche zazdrosny, ale tylko troche, ale jestem podziwu dla tych ktorzy pieknie maluja.

was a cretacolor (apassionforpencils.com/) woodless(solid graphite) pencil. I'd guess if you got a set, you could find the ones that you burn through Pentec has some too, idk, id shop around as art supply price varries... you could always just burn some wood and use the charcoal to sketch with...
Très impressionnant...j'ai toutefois relevé 3 petits défauts qui n'enlèvent en rien ce très beau travail, je vous en donne un...au niveau de la jonction entre les deux andouillers (sur le portrait en haut à gauche) la jonction peinte à 3:53 (autrement dit votre rendu) est trop fine comparée à celle que l'on retrouve à 2:34, mais celui qui vous dit cela dessine encore une vache avec un rond et 4 traits pour les pattes...si vous avez déjà vendu le tableau mon conseil est de vous introduire par effraction chez l'acheteur d'en apporter une légère modification et de mettre sous votre signature SAV ;) 2:34 3:11 3:53
Stéphane Alsac, I just now became familiar with you & your work when I saw your video here in the "recommended" list of a video I was watching of fellow hyperrealist artists Michael James Smith & this is an impressive piece you've done here! Good job! Here is a portion of a post I posted elsewhere on here: ...just the showing of the initial sketching made me to realize I need to get over more this feeling of mine that I would rather bypass preliminary sketching that is off the surface I intend to put a painting on, which feeling to bypass stems from a thought of feeling like I'm redoing something I already did & that's a bit boring for me. But at least sometimes I need to get over that feeling, for drawing up such preliminary sketches can really provide a learning & foundations for the task of transferring the image that will be the final product upon its permanent surface. Thanks for the beauty & the inspiration! The Lord Jesus bless you!

effectivement, l'oeuvre originale est vendue, mais il est possible d'acquerir le tirage en edition limitée, numéroté et signé. Il y a 2 formats, donc 2 prix différents.

Sure you can, paint a wall if you must, and use 3 buckets of primaries if need be. ;P

I struggle drawing on canvas because of the rough surface. What pencil did you use for drawing? Is that a usual graphite pencil or something else?
