i play on 1.2 spawn rates for dinos and had 4 max level raptors come running out the jungle at least twice when i was still a beach bob. well they balance the alpha hell out by making red woods not have you DDTed every 5 seconds by a thylo
I went into the deep part of the ocean near that massive skeleton and I found 7 alpha mosas right beside each other. Probably the most terrified I've ever been in ark.
Been so fun to follow along on your fjordur journey! I got my first gportal server using your code at the release of this map and have been playing along! I also settled in that castle and now want a wyvern! I just recently got my first few high level andrewsarchus and desmodus too!
Hey Syntac! I just wanna let you know that I appreciate how much work and effort you put in just to make some random people on the internet happy! It really shows you care about the community and you love what you do. You're the reason I play Ark again.
Syntac, I found the new easiest way to tame Ark Additions Brachios and it's using the Andrewsarchus. All you have to do it get 500-600 Advanced Rifle Bullets and a saddle slightly better than primitive, thought primitive can work just takes longer. The great part of it is that if you do it correctly and stay close enough to it the brachio will never sit back down after it stands up the first time because the AI thinks it will be close enough to hit you and will keep standing even though you are further away than it thinks. Also, when or if the brachio fear roars you can put the Andrew into turret mode and you will be able to control its movements from left to right. (I have not tested this with Yutyrannus' fear roar but I would assume this is a bug that might work on it too). Also, if you get a really good saddle of like 350-400% weapon damage each shot will be doing about 200-300 torpor to the brachio with non-boosted rates. Just thought I'd share this here because it is by far the easiest and most fun way to tame the Ark Additions Brachio I've found!!! Would love to see this tested out next time you try to tame them, I love all your vids and keep doing what you're doing!

Not video related, but I'm happy about it. Last night was going around taming Gachas to try and get some going for loot, since I'm on single player the cave drops are never spawned no matter how long I wait... So tamed all the high levels and was going around shotgunning the low ones to clear out, and decided to start picking up all the crystals. Kill one and find element dust crystals next to it, I felt my heart sink, I've never even been able to get an element dust Gacha. Luckily I checked around and it was one I hadn't killed wandering around a lot so I got her! Years ago when I was trying to get one I got mad and just started spawning them in the hundreds checking for element dust and never saw one... Thanks for the videos as always! I'm disabled and haven't been doing too great since the plague almost wiped my house out, when I don't feel good enough to play I just like watching other people play the map, starting with your video first every day. My arms are so horribly painful today I doubt I'll be able to play holding the console controller today... Oh and the bats I tamed and bred, even with the male only being like a 130 or something wild, are absolutely insane! Thought I'd go for 5k health, 2k stam, 1k weight, and pump melee, but at 1k melee it encumbers itself too fast, lol! So I went back to see how close to 10k I can get health. It does like 500 dmg a bite, attacks super fast and so agile in the air you can own anything. Just wish you could enable spoiled meat harvesting once you have too much to need anymore.
6:40 this is right around our bases area, massive perimeter of stone dino gates, hasn't stopped alphas from spawning or dropping in, which I keep telling my tribe mates but they just don't wanna upgrade our defences passed afew heavy turrets
Syntac "uses S+/SS" also Syntac "forgets that there is a Nanny for imprinting" :P lol tyvm for showing that the bat-juice is good for imprinting though :) The Velo might have de-spawned, I hate this map for that. It's like Gen?/gen2 with "realms" and if you leave one and go back, usually the dinos are new spawned. I found a great ovis for my breeding pair, went to get the cake, got back and.....gone... and it was in a safe area with many other herbivores(whom also de-spawned, whole area was barren...). Test it with the aberration cave, that's a bad one for trying to tame when u forget stuff :P
I saw that second Alpha Carno at the top of the waterfall when you flew in and was instantly like, “oh he didn’t see that other one up above.. it’s gonna fall on his head while he’s fighting the other Alphas” and then that’s exactly what almost happened 😆

Just FYI, statistically speaking to tell if it's a good level into a stat regardless of whether it gets taming levels or not, just divide the post-tame level by however many stats can receive levels, then determine the average. Technically you should see how many standard deviations the stat is away from the average due to this being a bell curve, but not a big deal really as long as you know the average. In this case, 210/6=35. So that Wyvern is just very average. You'd be more looking at low 40s for a good stat on a 210. Quick and easy to do!

They provide runes for world-boss fights.
And also for lvls because you have to get the Hammer at lvl 190

The Alpha spawn rate is insane on Fjord, good exp but always have to be careful.

At the rock drake cave you can use a desmodes and it won’t take damage you still will but you can use blood packs
You can just use an andrewsarchus with the saddle, just make sure to not hop off it for too long
