As an Arab I can confirm that English is the easiest language ever, and the slang words are our favorite part in speaking English they're not that hard at all

Jimins English is actually really good, he did an interview with Jimmy Fallon, basically entirely in English.
Real talk, after Namjoon I think Yoongi and Jin are the ones who know the most English theory, you know what I mean? They learnt in school from books and they can sometimes understand, so they struggle a bit to express what they want to say, forming sentences is hard and also when someone talks too fast. On the other hand Hobi,Jk, Tae and Jimin are learning English differently, they are learning how to hold a normal conversation with a human being and not textbook stuff, and I think when you are older that’s the best way to learn a new language, after Yoongi and Jin, Hobi and Jimin really got into learning before their solo debut. Anyway, they’re super cute when trying to speak English💜
Edit: let me tell you, I personally think Yoongi understands 80% of what’s being said in interviews tbh
Suga does know English. He just doesn't speak it. You can tell in interviews by the way he reacts to the questions.

Yoongi actually seems to understand a lot of the English being said, but he's pretty quiet in interviews etc, which is why he might not be show-casing his knowledge as much. He's got some good english-speaking, going for him
Oh since this clips is a long time now, they all gotten so much better in speaking English! So far, ever since they started their solo projects, Hobi, Jimin, Jungkook, and Yoongi (but doesn't show much) have gotten better! Maybe V is learning as well, we'll see in his solo project soon.

Hi Guys, back in 2007 (before the debut), Jin at 15 years old, was a foreign exchange student in Australia. 💜 P.S. 12:07 was a really insulting question that doesn't need any answer. Hence, you see the members' reaction with their faces in silence. The Heck! She trying to say that "because of Social Media/TH-cam is how they are recognized"? Noooo! btw at the clip with them on the red carpet with the interviewer using slang, he was only using more deep rooted terms cause they were doing an exercise to teach him english slang terms in korean. which is why joon needed clarification for what it meant so he could find a korean slang term that conveys a similar sentiment, and thus why he said 쩔어 (jjeoreo) and not the literal translation for snatching wigs, because translating it literally would not make any sense to a korean speaker. mfs will think you're fr going around grabbing and yanking literal wigs off people's heads😭😭
Try watching BTS American Hustle Life. That's where they went to LA to learn about hiphop and encourage people on the streets to attend their free concert during their early years! 💜💜

As someone studying to become a teacher partly in the subject of english, I can tell you that to learn speaking English, you have to speak it. it's great when you gain all that information about the language you learned but there is no use if you don't regularly speak it as well. I can imagine it's not teasy to find many opportunities to talk in english in Korea.
Jin was in australia or new zeland to learn english, but not that successful, JK was taking some english courses. but some people think that Suga is lowkey good in english as he sometimes just responding very well with english speakers

English definitely isn’t the easiest language to learn .. a lot of foreigners actually say that’s it’s pretty hard to learn 😭 even as an English speaker myself i definitely believe English is hard to learn you have so many words that sound the same but with different meanings.. I’m learning korean and it’s not as hard as people make it seem to be! It’s actually very fun and easy to learn ! Just like Spanish
