Here's a breif gacha summary since you're definitely confused and some tips!!!
There are 4 types of Gachas
-Permanent Gachas
-Limited Gachas
-Birthday Gachas
-Anniversary Gachas
and long story short in Permanent gachas you can get the characters again in another time since it is literally Permanent as the name implies that's why most people skip them.
Limited gachas are *USUALLY* cards that come with hairstyles (You need some materials to unlock tho however) And as the name says it is only for available for a short amount of time (8-10 days) and once the gacha is gone you do not have the chance to get it unlike permanent cards. However sometimes limited gachas to make a return but it takes a while.
Then birthday gachas. I can't say much about those but they are limiteds..like watered down 4 ☆? Just forget about birthday gachas (my personal opinion)
Then finally anniversary gachas, they are similar to limited gachas expext they have a 6% rate up chance.
In regular gachas the rate up is 3% but in anniversaries/festival gachas it is doubled to 6. Which is why a lot of people pull on them. Oh and Anniversary gachas last for 4-5 days then become a limited gacha.
Anniversary gachas happen every 3 months
Limited gachas happen every 1 month
And Permanent gachas happen twice a month.
If I said anything wrong please don't hesitate to correct!! ^^
Now, some tips (from experience.
Do NOT pull on permanent gachas. They aren't worth it UNLESS you are extremely desperate for it.
Pull for your favourite characters' limiteds.
Incase if you are wondering "How will I know if it is ther limited? Or when will it come??" Well there are 2 servers (4 servers to be precise, but it's not that relevant) English server And Japanese server.
The english server is one year behind the japanese server meaning if there is an event going on there it will come to the english server next year. That's how people normally save up in the english server. You can check out events and upcoming gachas to know.

i usually pull for bday gachas for the healers lmao
if you need healers i recommend pulling on your fav bday characters for them
purple means 4 star, a 4 star is the rarest you can get
yellow/piss bubble is a 3 star, still acceptable but not the best
blue bubble is basically useless once you get a lot of the 2 star cards
you getting that on a single pull is very good seeing it's a 3%, congrats!

the fact you got a 4 star,in your FIRST ONE pull is insane! also reminder that some 4 stars can give you costume, like the one you got.U can change the characters costume in the characters-costume and pick the character.tho tbf,it doesnt do anything other than make your character wear different clothes in 3dmv but its still a cool feature!(also pardon me for keep commenting long pharagraphs oof)
