I think once Michael leaves the greater threat is an unfamiliar management, new bosses etc. They hold on to the people they may not have liked before but are familiar. Jim and Dwight's friendship goes slowly from competition to collaboration in an unfamiliar environment. It's really well done.
Dwight openly addmitting to using Lloyd Gross to steal from the company is a perfect departure from his moral high horse from earlier seasons because he actively dislikes Sabre, it's a nice touch of character development.
In another perspective, the writers just didn't really care about characters' consistency at this point. We saw Dwight eating candies while lying on the sofa to humor Erin in the middle of working day. Also he rode a bicycle on a tight-rope from the roof of the office building just to prove a point.
@@aizat27 I remember seeing a comment saying that as the seasons go on everyone slowly loses their mind (its funny but probably not true for some characters)

That whole scene is hilarious and it lasts a few seconds, Kevin standing there, the high end nature of the food, and them allowing just a straight up fire be lit up in an office for a company that sales paper.
I don't blame them for doing that, the commission cap is 100% harmful to production and performance. It would be like if a restaurant put a tip cap on their waiters/waitresses.

Nah, Creed just flipped a coin and it told him. Get 'em, boys!

Dwight's nose

Pretty sure he says “text from the old wife”

This would have been better, but he actually said “text from the old wife”
“Text from the old wife” - he’s really committed to the fantasy

That scene with Andy cooking in the office is just amazing after being addressed by this man

Toby just nailed it this time.
Toby not only is a no nonsense guy when he plays Lloyd gross but hes also fictionally married. Lets hope that marriage wont turn out a sham
