That is all of us who've worked in a copy shop with an self service station. There was a 30yo guy who asked me what a .pdf was and just sooo many ladies of the middle ages (😉) who probably played dumb for 3 decades and got other people to help them this way.

To be honest, in accordance with his own rules, Gabes' caption wasn't terrible.
I actually thought his was quite clever.
True, it was nice, but comparing to the eventual roast and stickers on his back it was mediocre.
I actually didn’t care for this episode. Gabe was being perfectly reasonable here. This was the point of the show where they started relying on unconditional suspension of disbelief to draw in people who’ve never worked in an office before.

This is probably my favourite office scene ever. It gives a chance for the personalities of so many characters to shine, it has really funny and quick quips, has some of the best quotes overall, and makes fun of Gabe

@@mubbywub Pop culture references don't necessarily become dated. If a work of fiction is as you said timeless than people should get references to it even decades after the work came out. For example I could reference Star Wars and at least 90 percent of people would get it even decades after the first movie came out.

Poor Gabe, I don’t think he ever grew out of his childhood insecurities. He probably wouldn’t be so horrendously awkward if people didn’t pick on him like a bunch of middle schoolers anyway.
Well yes its true that no one is born awkward but after a point, you have to start taking responsibility for your own actions. To me, that is beyond your mid-20s. If you want people to like you, make you should act a little less like a PITA. If you want people to approach you, you should make yourself approachable. By mid-20s you've met enough people to realize this yourself so Gabe gets no sympathy from me. Especially because of the way he treated Erin.
