- Can Am Defender XT HD8 Saves the Day in Deep Snow! Kathie purchased vintage bricks on Facebook Marketplace and we needed to go pick them up, however we had the first big snowstorm of the year and we weren't able to get the truck up the hill on our 700' driveway to get the trailer we needed. But the Can-Am Defender, otherwise called "The Buggy" worked out perfectly!

It is a 4 x 4 and it might have made it, but the hill is a lot steeper than it looks. Trucks have had trouble on it in both mud and snow. Oh, and good neighbors are the best! Community is so important and I think a lot of people in the world have sadly forgotten that…

Yes! For the wood stove. And the bonus is that when a friend of the family found out we bought ‘old used bricks’ he told us we’re welcome to a free pile of them in his yard. He was going to bury them just to get rid of them! I’m so excited! Hope you stay warm too! Kathie
@@CreatingASimplerLifeOffGrid, oh, double bonus! As for wood stoves. Jotul has always been my favorite. A little pricey but you'll never need another one or have efficiency concerns. They'll blast you outta the place when correctly set and they're easy to operate, especially stoking them with all-nighter logs before going to sleep. Be well.

Yes and we couldn’t use it because it couldn’t be assembled yet. Parts were missing on order. I was pretty po’d

@@funtyes1970 I did finally get to use it without some of the parts and it was sweet! Buying it was a tough decision, but no regrets now!
