Well, this was so much fun! I look forward to making my own glitter glue. I do not own any stickles, but ever since seeing your holographic glitter over the matte moss green page, I have been interested in these more. And there must be a great sense of satisfaction in making your own! I can't wait to try this! Thanks so much for this video...really enjoyed it!!
Oh, and I know that the holographic is Folk Art, (and I got some immediately - what fun that stuff it is!), but it got me looking at Stickles and using more glitter in general. Last, I forgot to say Happy New Year! I wish you the very best in 2024!
Beautiful thank you for sharing I did the prices hear in Australia to make them it cost a lot to buy the products to make my own stickles than to buy made stickles.. I do have the items you need when they come down in price I’ll get them.. as the stickles are $3.00 to $4.45 Aussie dollars that’s still cheap to buy the product
Hi Kristina! Those Glitter Glues are Absolutely Gorgeous! 🤔 As you know, they're expensive in the USA! Something to ponder! Thank You for this wonderful video!! 💜💜
I just made glitter glue thanks to you, and it turned out great! I appreciate you so much for sharing this video with us. I’m off to make more glitter glue. 😊
Thank you for showing your process on making the glitter glues. I tried a couple of years ago but did not add water. I have so many glitter colors. I will give this another try. Happy New Year!!
Yea several were saying water that's why I even attempted. The water does help flow the thickness of the glue but takes only a few squeezes of the water. Helps to give a good shake. But it was so much fun! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'll be making more for sure!!! Happy New Year!
I have some very old little bottles of UHU glitter glue made in korea which seems to have any water in the mix. Since we don't have Tacky glue here in Europe I'll probably be using UHU clear glue, it may be a good substitute, I'll try. Working with something so pretty like glitters it's so satisfying. Thank for sharing your handmade stickles !
Super interesting 🤔 I have never tried stickles but already have loads of glitter and mica. I think this could be useful to just make up a small amount for a single piece of just the colours needed. Perhaps in those little containers like the ones that come in kids craft kits. That would be basically free for me. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely! It's also fun to do! I've been using the ones I made since, and they're still in good shape. I just need a stir or shake depending on whether a jar or squeeze bottle is used. Have fun making some!!!
Omg this is so cool !!! I really love the ones that you put in the jar, that teal turquoise one is beautiful , reminds me of the glitter gels by ranger, it would be interesting to hear how they hold up in a few months in terms of drying out, i would love to give this a try one day! Awesome brilliant idea ! And i just saw your completed pages , the glitters look great on the pages ! ❤ really loved this video
Thank you! Yes, I'll definitely do a follow-up on how they hold up. So far, so good. I'm going to make more from the teal color company. The glitter is quality and cool! Thank you for watching! Happy New Year!!!
Great job. I’ve watched a few of these and yours came out beautifully. I think I might buy glitter glue from dollar tree and clean them out to use the containers. I think there are 6 in a pack for $1.25. An extra step but a cheap start. I’m assuming I can pop the top off. Sometimes they have clear containers, also. Could also clean out one of their acrylic paint sets and use those.
Yes, it's so fun! They just need a stir or shake depending on which you use. Sometimes I stir in the pot with the end of a paint brush. It's a cheaper version of stickles, but I understand outside the U.S. They're cheaper.
Yes, if in the U.S.A., because single bottle Stickles are expensive. It's cheaper in Australia, for instance, to purchase the stickles. Definitely depends on where you live but also it's a fun project. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!! 😁
Yep, I did! I got the formula right on the last 3! I did follow others directions but definitely has to be right amount of water! The results turned out great!
Yeah, there needs to be an update, say like in one month and then six months on how they function. Like did it flake off paper, did it break down, did it dry well, did it separate in the bottle, did it dry up, and so on. No offense to you, but I’m skeptical of this in the long run (not because of anything related to you, just how the product turns out)
So far, the glue separates in the bottle but a good shake or stir in the case of a jar, and it's good to go. I'm using the glitter glues in my January pages. My completed pages will be shown for a one month update. I've had only one I'm not fond of, and that was the lighter pink. It just didn't have enough glitter. I went light first round, not wanting to overdue. I'll be continuing to make and use them. If they ever dry up or don't work anymore, I will be sure to say. And, if I find anything else out positive or negative, I will share. No flaking, either. They're stuck stuck on the paper. I appreciate you saying it's not related to me, your skepticism, that is. Thank you for your thoughts.
Very pretty glitter glues and the process looked fun.
Thank you Stefanie!! 😁

Wonderful! This was just what I was looking for. I have so many dry glitters that I need to do something with. I will try this.

I would worry the glue will dry in the metal tip piece and it’s too thin to get unclogged.
So far so good!!! It's easily cleaned with alcohol 91% and a paint brush.
Kristina, do you think it would be cheaper to do this than ordering all the other types of glitter glue? Thanks!😊
Yes, if in the U.S.A., because single bottle Stickles are expensive. It's cheaper in Australia, for instance, to purchase the stickles. Definitely depends on where you live but also it's a fun project. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!! 😁
From using stickles, I would say, maybe less water.
Yep, I did! I got the formula right on the last 3! I did follow others directions but definitely has to be right amount of water! The results turned out great!
