Organic Condensation Polymers 4. Nylon-6,6

This video provides an animated explanation of the formation of the polyamide nylon-6,6 from a diamine (1,6-diaminohexane) and a dicarboxylic acid (hexane-1,6-dioc acid).
The process is known as condensation polymerisation - forming water molecules together with polyamide molecules. In an accompanying video I look at the formation of the polyester terylene.
