I eat Mint from my garden daily, why not just leave the mint sticks in? I am loving your videos, thank you !

It doesn't need any starter, nor do you need plants or anything, just beans

Thank you Mr Sachiaki Takamia, for giving clear guidance for making natto in instant pot. Mint is growing in my garden. I have to look for organic soybeans. How to take and when to take natto. I will see your other videos for answers. God bless you.

I only just found you, why until now?! I really enjoy how you make you make your videos. Thanks so much for this video, just comes on time as I ve been thinking of making natto again. Now I can access to natto kin any time from my home grown mints, abd not having to buy the commercial natto as a starter any more. Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing this option - would need to travel to a specialty shop for natto inoculant - but have a lovely patch of organic mint, and will try this soon!! (Should see if i can borrow my granddaughter's insta pot!!)

Hi Sachiaki, I'm Katerina from Greece. There is no natto available where I live, so was so glad when I saw your method! I have an Instant Pot and yesterday I tried your method using celery stinks from our garden. Unfortunately, after 24 hours only some of the beans had the white innoculant and there only some slimmy stings. So, as an experiment I decided to smash about half of them, to stir everything well and allow it to ferment for another 12 hours. What is your opinion? Can i leave them to ferment even longer? I

Falo do Brasil.

I am thinking navy bean/canelini bean, some people use garbanzo/chick peas w/success.

It works, but my first try took longer than 24h to reach the sticky stage. Almost 48h. I think it could be that i didn't used enough mint sticks, as i cooked a lot of soybeans. Be sure to use a lot of them, to ensure proper colonization. More could be better than less.

I planning to do this and I have a question. I am toying with the idea of sprouting my own organic brown rice and growing it up to a stage where I could use some of the stems or leaves. Do you think this is possible or the difference is not worth the effort? Thank you again for showing us the way!!!

It was the most shocking video. I'm so impressed. One important question: How do you increase the amount of NattoKinane (the supplements contain 2000 FU per capsule) . I need 11000 FU daily for removing artery plaques(yeah, I'm in deep trouble). appreciate every hints.

Nattokianse can be purchased in capsule form. Also Lumbrokainase. I have used them both to clear suspected embolism in my leg. Swelling in leg went down. Both are available online. Research before you buy!

Worth just taking B. Subtilis (high end) “probiotic”… regularly for a while, your intestine should start producing the right enzymes & butyrate. These will feed on your healthy food intake (the fiber, esp frm onion family inulin)

It is clear that Insta-Pot has higher standards for Japanese sales. In the US we ‘get’ interior chamber that is non-stick coated - rather than that non-toxic shiny stainless I see in this video.
Does anyone have stainless, outside Japan - with buttons in English language?
    Thank you.

I am in Canada and ordered mine from Canadian Amazon with the only option being a stainless pot. I had to order a knock-off non-stick liner to use for rice only pretty much.
