One time, outside of San Antonio, I came across a few ranch families camping with their chuck wagons. They fed me home-raised beef, cornbread, and veggies all cooked up over a fire in their antique cast iron dutch ovens. Best food I've ever had. Picked some tunes around the fire and ate until I couldn't anymore. Gotta love those Texans.
