A giant amount of love for the RS4 B7! It blew my mind when it was presented (I was about 14 years old)...high-revving NA V8, manual, wide and aggressive body... 😍

@@samheeddalman you might be right, I still can't really be sure if it's got the flared arches or not of a quattro turbo, perhaps just a nice GT which has survived a SWB chop job.

Notice how the two vintage coupes go off to be by themselves away from the rest so they can sulk on their love for the classic 10/20v, meanwhile, the pricks with money go off and have fun with all their horsepower.

@1:37 That R8 V8 must have aftermarket, (possibly 180 degree) headers? I've never heard an Audi v8 sound like that before in anything. The exhaust impulses sounded much more balanced, like a flat plane engine typically would.

I can not tell whether its S5 or RS5, but it does look like an RS5.

What car show. I only been to a car museum and all of the old ones are beautiful. I have always likes cars since before I liked animals. Cars are the first thing I ever remembered liking and when I was about 7 I loved old vintage and classic cars. I love vintage stuff! And now I like Top Gear (yes the one with Richie boi {Richard Hammond} James May and Jeremy Clarkson). So yeh

No, it's an "issue" with the 4.2 heads. Have a quick browse on the web and you'll come across it.

a lot of these cars a probably mapped ( at least the older ones ) and are “running rich”

Legit question: why did just about every one of them produce some manner of white/grey/blue-ish smoke? Didn’t look right tbh
Sir Sparco I was think the same, don't quote me on this but i think it's just because most have old v8's which have probably not had the easiest lives coupled with aftermarket exhaust systems mean the smoke is more visible due to components of the exhaust system being removed or modified. Obviously blue smoke indicates that oil is being burned etc and there are many videos on on here which go into detail about what different colours of smoke is telling you about your engine, this coming from a non-expert of course
Even the new S5 was emitting some white smoke!
Cold engine
some of them are just cold and burn oil but mostly they removed the cat or put catless aftermarket exhaust on their cars
The white smoke on some of them might just be condensation and the engine not being completely heated up yet.
The blue smoke is most likely due to it burning oil.
Black smoke is rich tune, or diesel, or diesel with rich tune.
There were more B7 RS4 avants in that meet than all of North America
