That triple bottle zoom was hilarious. I thinks that’s the best one I’ve seen. A zoom shot is like the comedy straight man but it’s hacky when not done right.
What Neil and Chris are saying about Catholicism and religion in general are what I’ve been saying about it since I was 7 but never had anybody that completely related to me about that. This podcast was great. Also, birthdays ARE fucking stupid and I feel how Chris felt about his weight at 27, now being 28 instead of 37 like him lol. My favorite podcast I’ve seen in a while.
The insecurity talk at around 10:30 sounds like something Chrissy regrets he did in his past that he now fears for his daughters. He doesn't want his daughters to meet a young him pretty much
That he did or saw his friends doing ie being disrespectful or rude to a woman to look cool in front of the friends. Good news /bad news: by the time his baby daughter is dating, there won’t be guys and girls anymore it’ll all be non-binary
Easy, the not wanting to be alone and the quiet thing are all about chaos. New York is a place where you literally cant be alone because you are constantly surrounded by people and noise and visual stimulus and a million other other things. That constant stimulus loop becomes addicting (and if Im not mistaken Chris has spoken about addiction issues in the past) and something you expect and something you need, and in the case of New York, theres nothing like it anywhere else so that yearning for it makes complete sense. Its like people who cant sleep without a white noise machine or music playing or whatever it is, they just need that thing there taking up space to make them feel connected to something.
Really like this series. Would it be possible to add one solid minute at the opening of the guests act? Some of these comics I’ve never seen and the contrast between the stage act and the real person would add to your show.

I live in Bisbee Az, I'm friends with Stanhope, and Blocks was my favorite special I've seen since Doug's Beer Hall Putsch. Don't tell Doug cuz he's put out 2 specials since then..... Seriously though, Blocks kicked me in the nuts! The closer especially. I've always beat myself down and never showed myself the love I show everyone else. Always thought it was making me tougher and better. I'm rethinking that now. Much love Sir!!!
