Seriously “Peege”, how do you not have 500,000 subscribers!!??!! No b.s., you consistently come out with well thought out, simple and effective ideas. I was almost positive that the board would stay on the ground and you were just going to lean against it for starting position. I admit when I am wrong. Very glad to see you have the right amount of board length so it follows the lifting arc and follows the body. I am sure I am one of many but thanks again bud.
hey buddy, that was crazy, an Optimus thing to get better mobility to this exercise, as soon as I saw it, I made my own my self,, so simple, and so easy, I even upgrade it, with some backcushion support,, like in a bench,, so my back it's not on the wood ,, making it more confortable.. like always, number one diy fitness acc
Glue and screw everything together and then paint and stain so the glue can work better. The paint is a layer that doesn’t let the glue work properly. But amazing video will be making this!
Agreed. However, Like i said in the video I was repurposing an existing project- the “tray” to my belt squat platform- which was already painted. Please let me know how this works for you, and THANK YOU for supporting the channel !🤘🙏💪
Awesome videos. Would you know where to find heavy duty spacers that have a 5/8 inner diameter with 1 inch outer diameter thats 3 inches long? Need it to act as an adapter for a rack attachment that's pins are smaller than the holes in my rack.
22.5” - BUT for a more detailed measurement breakdown - I just added a picture which has ALL of the dimensions on it. Picture is at the bottom of the article linked here: diyfitnessclub.com/projects/hip-thrust-bench

FOR FOR ALL YOUR VIDS TO GET ME WORKING OUT AGAIN, I DON'T DO VIDS, BUT I WILL POST EVERYTHING ASAP ON there .
Great question! Both inner 2x2s create a channel for the barbell. They both provide rotation (although the upper one does most of that work) and both prevent the unit for slipping downward/upward. Thank you for your support! 🤘🙏💪
@@DesignBuildLift Thanks so much for your quick reply :D but actually i was referring the inner lumber that is not used for the channel for the barbell. I mean the inner lumber that is apart from the two inner lumbers that create the barbell channel. What is that one for?
Thank you! Keep in mind that I an reusing the “loading/unloading tray” from my belt squat platform for this application. But I suppose you could leave out the center 2x4 if you wanted, but I think it having all 3 offers additional stability as well as a better foundation for the padding.
