This was a fun video to watch. A lot of people will not have the space and/or budget for all these tools. Check out your local makerspaces as these tools may be available there!
I use neodymium magnets to hold the wood down in my laser cutter so that when i remove the work the waste stays EXACTLY in place in case i need to add engraving. Saves a ton of painters tape.

One of my clients has a 3D printer that can do metal. Its about 1 million to 2 million dollar unit. It is also liquid cooled. They also have a few machines that do up to 32x32x16 inch items. Those a about 500K each.
This is a useful video, it's fun watching the giant gameboys and spy cooler episodes but these sort of videos.Sometimes the comments about how to use something, or whats' the best tool for the job get lost in the rest of the project specific videos.
Hey there Ben, i mentioned this on a previous video, but i figured i'd comment on something more recent. I've been slowly getting into electronics since i started watching your show, and i'd really like to get into making my own guitar pedals (Distortion, Overdrive, Boost, Delay, Reverb. etc) I was wondering if you could dream up some designs, or maybe even some kind of multi-fx unit that i might be able to build. i tried my hand at a couple of distortion schematics that i was able to find online, but to no avail. perhaps you could guide me in the right direction. either way, i love the show, and thanks for keeping it up all these years.
So we've been watching Ben for 4 years and we finally learn how to use a breadboard, and how solder???? There are plenty of other youtube channels for learning electronics basics. I thought it was assumed you got inspired, went away and did your homework, watched all Ben's back catalogue of content, or heaven forbid buy a book about beginner electronics - then come back when ur ready to learn higher level stuff. Your running the risk of trying to please too many people. Old viewers are really starting to get pissed with these series of beginner tutorials. And the newbs will not understand much of the content. Why not create a new channel with electronics tutorials. I miss the old days....bring back The Ben Heck Show
+raindogred That was a really long rant. You made a good point BUT you failed to give suggestions for new videos that mind you they always ask at the end of their videos. It's one thing to point out what's bothering you, but please give them ideas, otherwise you risk sounding like a salty viewer. I do agree that they should have a separate channel for tutorials though. It would keep things nice and organized.
+raindogred I agree with you. I really liked those videos too. However it's not that simple. They've been having some problems with new ideas lately. Remember a host will never ask for ideas if he/she has ideas. After so many years it gets hard to come up with new exciting ideas. It happens. It's why it's our duty as fans to provide realistic but awesome ideas for him to make and for us to enjoy. :)
+The Ben Heck Show Well my suggestion is to do a second channel, or create a playlist with a separate series for beginners.. Aussie Dave has fundamental Fridays (sometimes). I understand the need to educate beginners..it's important. However, I really liked the way that Ben was never into "hand holding" beginners, There are plenty out there who do that. The onus has always been on the viewer to do your own homework to try and understand what Ben is doing... it's never been a "maker/instructable" channel (thank god).. i.e electronics equivalent of paint by numbers. But the world is changing and what Ben was doing 5 years ago, which was so far ahead of the game it wasn't funny..pretty much stood on his own on youtube, it was mind-blowing ..microcontrollers, prototyping using cnc, 3d technology..is now old hat, Hard to believe in such a short period in time. Arduino generation and now retail stores selling 3d printers??? I think now more than ever you guys should not be trying to compete with all that..my 2 cents. Having said that, I appreciate all the vids you guys put out for our education/entrtainment.thanks

By design workflow I'd guess you would pick a project from its earliest stages and then talk about the whole design process, including the decisions you'd make midway through completion.
You compensate for the tool in the cnc program Then it will know where to put the toopath. I guess this machine isnt nearly accurate enough to do that though.
it's more "different design and prototyping technique" than a workflow plan. workflow means pretty much "how a project takes shape step by step" wich is not even talked about here, fix your titles instead of clickbaiting.
