Looking forward to firing mine up. And yes I would love to overclock mine a bit to squeeze some extra hashrate out of it. A video guide would be awesome 😃
Make end plate mesh? Might make for it being able to be on its side... As others have asked, what's the power draw? And can't blame him for the voided warranty for overclocked.... $99... Id see see what i can snag up...
@@MorbidXTC Perhaps you Nano 3's.. My 3 Nano 3's do just fine I've had them for 6 mo.. Yes hash rate varies between machines, and currently running only medium speeds due to summer heat.
@@dennyb9717 I was basing my comment on other folks videos or comments on them. Unfortunately I can't speak from first hand experience... I probably should've said that in the first response... I've only seen or heard about some issues with nanos, not so much the metal miners. But id still be willing to give them a fair shake and grab one at least for heating up a room in the winter while playing the lotto lol if I were in the position to be able to
Mine just arrived.. There was a lot of slop in the box at arrival. Padding may have degraded along the way. One case rivet popped / dropped out on the small end. Room for improvement... That being said IT does work, tested it yesterday. GUI look good. It mines on my presets Tyler did.. GUI shows it as an Antminer S9 (hash board) running BRAINS OS/Firmware.. Fan is loud BUT not as bad as a true ASIC miner - screamer.. I may order two more, but packing needs to improve hate for a hash board or connectors to break.. FYI It's mining on UNMINEABLE in a Pool, will try Solo later maybe.
Always new miners ? What's the point ? Only high electricity costs... In a few weeks a new miner will come along, but the chances of finding a block are still slim, no matter which Solominer
The units hash rate makes a tiny bit of bitcoin on a pool. That is not the primary focus of it though. This is a hobby device and is priced to reflect that. The main reason people want units of this type is for the possibility of hitting a block in a solo configuration like playing the lottery. That is why they are sometimes referred to as "luck" miners. However, I am using mine for a different purpose and that is as an electrical heater. Instead of running a forced air resistive style central heat, I have several mini ASIC's set around the place that are making a bit of crypto and heating the place. That is why they have value to me.
does the $99 include shipping, Brandon? also, I didn't catch it if you said it... but I'm wondering how much BTC you can expect one of these to mine? ...please lmk thanks brother
absolutely terrible exhaust configuration, those few slits cant handle/exhaust the volume of air from that fan efficiently/properly. very poor exhaust design, will lead to heating issues.
@@dennyb9717 Thank you for confirming that, and that supplemental cooling is needed. unfortunately, the exhaust design, or lack thereof a proper exhaust outlet will only shorten its overall lifespan. All that volume of air needs to expel, not build pressure & heat, which its doing within the metal housing. im truly shocked at the lack of thought that went into them tbh. its no wonder they have fan/cooling issues.
So this machine actually wont make me any Bitcoin unless it solves something? If it doesn't solve stuff it won't make me any Bitcoin?? Or am i completely wrong on this? Thank you
You have to solve a block to get rewarded, there's people with more powerful machines doing the same thing you are. So if you get lucky you "could" get a reward. Very slim chance but some people like doing this as a hobby.
Anyone who's had anything to do with crypto mining and or this channel for more than a day knows that solo mining is an at your own risk thing. No one here forces anyone to buy anything nor do they imply these will certainly make you rich... Quit being a dooche troll
Get the state lotteries banned first - make it a political campaign issue and see how many additional votes that bets you LOL. Why waste effort on miners when the state lottery is the same thing but it affects > 60,000% more people.

$99 solo miner price would just about be doable for us poor folk
Except you're competing with mega miner farms from China.
With your electric bill, you're still in negative.
Tyler $99.99 fur sure!!! Do ittttt!!! I’ll buy one

Any idea when the scrypt metal miner is coming out. That’s the one I’m really interested in
Canaan Avalon nano 3s are in a similar price range.
Nanos seem to have a bit more of a poor track record than the metal miners... But.. price wise valid point

They either mine a FULL block or NOTHING. there's no in-between. This is a SOLO miner. Solo means, only a block or bust.
What is the power draw on these with stock settings on 110v?
please santa i want one or two for Christmas ❤
Spray foam insulation? Lmao
How much watts does it use?
Do you ship it outside USA ?
How do i buy one? And how much bit can it mine per day?👍
If you pool mine like 15 cents a day I think these were designed to be used a solo miners

Just got mine.. It DOES get very warm / hot. But Aluminum case acts as a heat sink some. case.. Also I'd add a fan grill and will later..

Hello Need Help i am looking for a miner that can mine bitcoin doge coin lite coin and more on a miner ?
Really, 3TH is just a waste of money! Guy, save your money and buy miners during the bear markets. You will spend more money on electricity
thats what i was thinking the avalon does 4th with only 140 watts
Stop scamming people and explain to them how big of a waste of money this is
It’s a lottery miner none of them make anything unless they hit the bitcoin lottery
