On mine, when you are looking at the video feed, I select where it says More then it should have an option that says install, display, image settings. Image settings is where you choose b/w or in color.
It has an option on the app to scan your network. From there, you can see the number of the camera then you can reset it with a pen and put in a new password if you forgot it.
Same problem ,there is a bug in the system ,as I've said it's a shame as it's a good camera. But no one will listen and fix the bug,that doesn't allow password change even when its been reset with the button .
On my phone I decided to update the app and when I finish everything was normal. Later I open the app and it was writen in Chinese or something with a countdown, after the countdown it start to install something. I turn off immediatly my phone. I reopen it and it happen again. So after turning back on my phone I was playing in my settings and suddently an installation in background started all written in chinese. What is that? Are they spying on my home?
This fuckin device suddenly can’t read my sd cards then after few days can’t connect to my wifi just when I needed it the most! Great!! I’m bout to put this on fire!!
Ha ha!! Just cycle the power and it should be visible on the network again. Sometimes they get corrosion on the sd card fingers i guess and it doesnt record but for the price, its not a bad deal and i can always get another camera and install it in an enclosure that doesnt let moisture in so easily.
App seems pretty good compared with some I have seen. Camera's WiFi aerial seems shoddy and won't connect if more than 2m (6ft) away from my WiFi routers (I tried 4)
Probably operator error. You are probably using the wrong password or just sticking in whatever and it doesnt work. Thats what I had done until i figgered out which password to use which is the one used on my router for Guests. Not the one to get into the 192.168.0.0 password which is different.
That’s what I want to know too. I only got this to use outdoors because it said indoor and outdoor camera. So if I can only use when it’s hooked to usb then it’s pretty much useless to me.

It doesnt matter what it says. All it says is when its setting up and then when its ready for you to put the information in the phone app. You can change it from the setup screen in the app. Go to the green gear for settings then choose Language and it gives the choice of chinese or English speak.
Please don't ever buy this type of camera because it doesn't work for a long period. I know it's cheaper than other. I buyed 50 camera's for my resort out of 50 only 7 r working in good condition. If u still want to purchase its ur wish.
v380 camera clock. The front cover fell off just by removing the tissue paper. The unit did not power on. The setup requires yo to use an unsecure cloud location that they have access to. All in all. Complete fail. Even if it worked, I wouldn't want them to have access to my videos.
