As a qpr fan I’d rank our rivals Chelsea, Fulham, Brentford and Luton. Chelsea act like they don’t care but if they lost to us they seem to remember us pretty quickly

Adam Docker yeah although Leeds have great support, their fans are very hostile to everyone lol. We played Bournemouth on the opening day a few years back, and at West Brom as long as you have a ticket you can go into this area outside the stadium where they have a big screen to watch the early kick off and have a few beers before the game, spoke to a few Bournemouth fans, really nice group of people
Oh no, we consider Belgium to be a rival too, it's just that the rivalry with Germany is way bigger.
France isn't a rival, just a relatively similarly class opponent. For us, they hold the same feelings as England or Italy.
I would also say that the dutch are our biggest Rivals in football , maybe than there would be Austria and France and Italy

@@rickenfatania Kind of did. The rivalry really stems from that small war involving France, Japan, England, Germany, USSR, USA and more, which a certain leader of Germany sparked by breaking a certain peace treaty in just a few ways.
@@CookieGal- Well, maybe it amuses you to hear that Germans do not really acknowledge your participiation in that small war as relevant. We lost against the USA and Russia and unfortunately they are not good enough in Football to be considered rivals to us, just like England actually.

2010 was only time they embarrassed us. All the other games were close. They may be good at pens but that dont mean the German fans were not shitting it against us.
@John Saunders we beat them in euro 2000 battered them in 2001 world cup qualifying game. took them to sudden death penalties in 96 took them to penalties in 90 beat them in the 66 final. I shouldn't have to listen to fans tell me we couldn't beat Colombia in 2018 cause it went to penalties but then hear that we got beat by all the teams we took to penalties.

Xabier Fernández PSG vs Marseille is a good one. There was a time when Marseille was the dominant force in French football but even though we beat them all the time, we still hold a high level of hatred towards them just as they do for us.

Bayern Munich vs TSV 1860 Munich - 1860 was in the top flight for quite a long time and the derbies were quite spectacular. There is also a tradition of the working class being fans of 1860. Now of course, 1860 is in shambles after being relegated from 2nd to 4th league due to financial issues. Since, at least they have made it back to the third division, where derbies are again possible against Bayern's second team :-D

What makes it interesting is that they even shared the Allianz Arena for a while. It can change colors and would take turns lighting up red and blue at nights. 1860 fans hated it because it was way to big, having been finished just after they were relegated to the second tier. After a while, Bayern bought their shares, making them pay rent at first until finally moving out. The first thing Bayern did was to rip out the neutral gray seats and replace them with more suitable red ones and a huge Bayern logo. 1860 meanwhile regularly tore down the inner-city Grünwalder Stadium (figuratively speaking), the place where they have been already playing at 100 years earlier. I hear games there are also quite fun.

I'm Argentinean, once a Colombian friend asked me how the vibes were in the country prior to such a classic since we were rivals (Argentina was gonna face Colombia for the WC qualifiers), I had to break down to her that nobody in Argentina would bat an eye over playing against Colombia, our rivalry is mainly with Brasil and to a slightly smaller extent with Uruguay. She was baffled about it. And I was baffled about her being baffled about it.
As a Pole I can tell you, you can't imagine how big of a deal the matches against Germany are over there. Mostly because until recently we've never beaten them, even in our golden era. Our 2:0 win against them in 2015 is still being celebrated here, and I've never seen anyone care so much about a friendly like when we beat them 1:0 this year. And then there was the Moldova game...

Not gonna lie but 50 kilometres in The Netherlands is quiet alot considering driving from the Northest City Leeuwarden to the Southest city Maastricht is around 220 kilometres. But I would also consider Ajax and Utrecht since Ajax-fans rarely see Utrecht as rivals.
I'd say 85 percent of dutch football fans actually support Belgium during world cups and Euros. Especially if Holland isn't entering or already finished in the tournament. We always look at Belgium as a little brother. If we were ever gonna take over germany we'd need them as our allies ;p

I'd give the first place to Italy and Germany. Although I live in Germany and support the German national team, I have to admit that Italy have been really tough against the Germans. If I'm not mistaken, Germany never really managed to beat Italy, and when they did, that's because the match was decided by a penalty shoot-out.

Honestly Italy has a rivalry with Germany as we have beaten them in the majority of the games(if I am not wrong Italy loosed against Germany only 1 time in official games at penalties) and also because we are the 2 most successful NT in all Europe 8WC and 4 Euro cups in total.

The worst thing of the Argentinian La Plata derby is that, aside from the obvious title difference, the match record shifted dramatically towards Estudiantes' side...winning at least 95% of the matches played from 2004/5 up to this day...and that shift started with a match that Estudiantes won by 7-0
