9:55 I love when Beau is talking about how Molly would figure things out with Tarot and Taliesin is looking directly at the camera and nodding in agreement.
As funny as the Jester bit with Molly is, it’s also sad cause she’s really idolized him and he meant a lot to her. Beau did it too with him but in different ways, and after his death he really became like this idolized figure in their minds, and to see him again as Lucien is that much more heartbreaking. The others at the table just losing it is SO funny though agshdhfhf
jester: those tarot card readers know what they're doing! think of Molly, he was so smart!! taliesin, probably remembering the hospital escapade: *snort*
Travis as Grog got two natural twenties and with his second attack he caused 86 points of damage, which led to "How do you want to do this?" Grog literally 86'd that enemy.
@@imhulki463 To 86 something, as I understand it, is to destroy it and get rid of it or throw it away. The first time I heard the term was in a movie. In it a former criminal's old partner left a car full of drugs at his ex partner's house. When the partner found the drugs in the car he dumped them down the garbage disposal in his sink (destroying them and getting rid of them). When someone came to get the car they asked where the stash was and former criminal said "I 86'd it." Grog rolled 86 hit points on the monster, which led to the monster's death, cutting off it's head which got blown away by the wind. So he literally 86'd the monster.
From the UrbarDictionary: "To get rid of, originally for killing someone. The phrase "80 miles out and 6 feet under" was reserved for someone who had to dig their own grave 80 miles from civilization and then get shot execution-style. All terms for 86'd originated from this, be it alcohol or eliminating."
I have watched only like clips of campaign one, but I have seen good chunks of the Final Venca fight and I can’t like help but wonder how crazy the Mighty Nein’s last battle will be, and see those characters have these insane moments, y’know? Like they’re only on level 13 like there’s probably a whole nother crazy arc to come and to see them all at their most powerful. Veth is going to have some awesome abilities if they fight a mage, she can steal spells, use them against them, and they can’t cast that spell again. But they’re all such creative players and watching the unique way they find solutions is so much fun. Final boss bet, they polymorph it into a turtle and drop the turtle into a volcano
I have a theory that the final fight is going to be against The Crawling King, a being so powerful is took the two most powerful deities at the time to defeat it. The Mighty Nein will probably be at god slaying level by than, but they'd still need help against that. So Allura will summon the only party she knows who'd stand a chance against a god, Vox Machina, to aid them in the battle. I can just IMAGINE the intro Matt gives them. Describing each character without outwardly saying it's them. As it slowly dawns on the cast who it is, Matt ends it by saying the Goliath slams his gauntlets together, and as he grows in size he shouts "Vox Machina. Fuck. Shit. UUUUPPPP!!!!." Then Matt announces that's where they'll end it for this week. And the whole cast will go absolutely LIVID. And I am. SO. EXCITED.
See the main difference between Critical Role and a home game is that in a moment like 2:09, in a home game, we would have just beaten the shit out of him hahaha
Hey, can I just, my mind's not in a very great place these days/weeks/months (things stack, you know), but these compilations and a cup of tea has helped so much so many times. Forcing me to laugh, even when I haven't for days, it's really something. I know the cast is the ones making me laugh, but you densified the whole thing, making it a lot easier to get to. So thank you for your work. It is very much appreciated.
Yeah, I think Matt was just nervous about making C2 feel like its own story, so he was really careful about the ways that he referenced it. Telling the players they don't know about VM allowed him to be the one who made those connections. And even with the internet, you probably don't know about every hurricane or earthquake that hits another continent. It would totally make sense if they had heard about the Vecna fight, but it's also definitely plausible that they wouldn't know about it.
Travis: "Your parents watch this show!"
Laura: *hair flick* They knew what they were getting into.
“he was basically a god”
*WELL YOURE NOT WRONG YET*
Let it be known that Fjord rolled three natural 1s to make that Grog ending possible.
Taliesin’s reaction to Marisha falling off her chair is brilliant.
"holy fuck" - Sir Lord Taliesin Axelrod "Eternal Pyramid Deity" Jaffe

Jester seems to be easily imprinted on and influenced by well-meaning tricksters and conmen.
@@TheBlarggle spending nearly 18 years isolated in your room will do that
Taliesin nodding to the camera is what got me.
10:23 Marisha's comedic timing and Laura's hilarious escalation are absolute gold!
That part was Marisha having learned self preservation 🤣🤣🤣
And Taliesin nodding to the camera in agreement to everything Marisha was saying.
10:28 “and he was basically a god” hits different now
I'll never get tired of Taliesin's laugh

I just noticed that Marisha is wearing the Keyfish shirt during the whole "mollys not a god" exchange
9:29 holy shit Laura Bailey can act. She brings such dimension to Jester.
The best thing about that is Sam kind of getting scared by Laura 😂
“And he was basically a God”
“He wasn’t …” - said Marisha ‘it’s fine, we’re Gods’ Ray in her Keyfish Thsirt
She learnt her lesson. Tho c3 goldfish did redeem her a lil bit hahaha
It's a learnt lesson, it happend what twice?

Underrated comment. Needs more likes
I dun get it
@@imhulki463 I know it from working in service, but when something's 86, it means it's out of stock

I love it when they really get Taliesin laughing hard. His face will turn the same color as his hair.

Marisha's legs when she falls of the chair are hilarious. She looks like a cartoon character.
Just so happens “Shiver and Quiff” are a Frost Mage and Elven archer adventuring duo.
Sam’s book moment is definitely great
He was so happy at that moment
That roar at 13:50 is the reason I got into D&D

But like, with pillows and no actual physical harm because that shit's toxic
I love that Marisha is always falling off her chair ahaha. I always re-watch it when that happens. She's so weird. Love it.

you're very welcome! i have a lot of fun making them so i'm glad that people enjoy watching them :) and i hope things get better soon!
Props to Matt as a dm but I seriously doubt that people in wildmount do not know who VM are specially not smarty pants like Beau and Caleb
