Good to have in depth facts and figures - which 15 min reviews cannot cover.

Excellent video on the features of the Octavia 3 FL. Only one omission, the 2.0 190 TSI "Budack" engine, though it was only available from 2018 onwards. The styling grows on you the more time you spend with it, and I am now very fond of the distinctive looks.
Nobody could criticise you for your estimate of residual values being out. Who could have foreseen the market today?

A great review, looking at the 2.0ltr TDI 150 Hatch in L&K form with the 6 speed dsg box, does anyone know how the 7 speed compares ? Seems odd they have not fitted the more up to date version.

Only one problem - great if you're happy with a manual. DSG boxes are only good whilst working; when not, they are cripplingly expensive to repair - Had one (Golf) and never again!

The entertainment display is far too complicated to operate …..Apple car play Dab radio is all you’ll need …Voice control needs ripping out , and the windows have a mind of their own …..cup holders are for small cups …. All that’s a shame because the rest of it is quite simply fantastic …

Are you sure? I had 15 plate Octavia for 3+ years. The CD was in the glove box and also housed the 2x SD card readers. One held the Sat Nav card the other you could use for your SD card with music, podcasts etc on.

I have a 2018 estate which I bought 3yrs ago. It's kept outside and no leaks, so far 🤞

@@mickeyp1158 Mine leaked everywhere. The car was an absolute shit of a car. There was no system on the car that did not break down in the warranty period... except the engine. The last thing that broke down was the transmission... not the clutch but the transmission itself. Never had a manual transmission car that had its transmission break down....except this octavia... also 2018 btw.

Big mistake Skoda, you have to many gadgets like every other car, which means, when they start going wrong, and wrong they will be, one must get rid, or look into ones money shed.
