it‘s interesting how you recognize the Chinese characters. As a Chinese native speaker, we learned the same way “ by the 2 point water or 4 point water” in elementary school.😊
Love the walk and talk, you're very natural talking on camera. We used to have these gun, grenade and knives styled candies in NZ back in the day as well, even had cigarette candy for kids and pretty sure they still do lol.
Woah, nice cafe, I like all the nick knacks inside, and the cat😸 I really like how it turns into a bar at night. fyi: As an America thats gone camping when I was in the Boy Scouts, I'm fine with China old style toilets. 😁 I find it more sanitary that sitting on a toilet seat used by others (yes, you can always spray it down with a alcohol spray or wipe it down with Purell, but it's more of a hassle then)
hahaha that is a good way of looking at it!! I do find most public bathrooms have a western toilet, although alot of older establishments like small Cafes and Bars will have these style toilets. It doesn't bother me either. Thankyou for watching, and leaving a positive comment.
There are all toilet seats in Chinese shopping malls, which I am not used to because I have mysophobia and am particularly afraid of water splashing on my butt. So I stand on the toilet every time I go to the toilet. Then wipe it clean with paper.
Actually, the squatting posture provides a natural body posture and is healthier than the sitting one, as it provides for the alignment of the rectum and the anus in a near vertical position. Also it’s good for our legs’ tendons that can stretch out every time when go toilet. 😃
For some reason you're very soothing to listento to even if my mind was wondering to something else! May be because of your matter of fact positive attitude!
You totally figured out how to travel in China. 🤣We use our phones for almost everything and I really think anyone planning a trip to China should check out this video. It will definitely make traveling easier.
I'm very impressed by how you figured out how to use A-Map, & Navigate in all Chinese without any English description all by yourself. Good luck on all your Guangzhou adventure! ❤😊
Great job and effort to explain how the most useful tools in China work to the foreigners! And i am curious about how you learn about them. Is there a friend of yours who told you? Or you just work it out by yourself? You are so beautiful and have a nice trip in China!
HI, Thankyou for the positive comment! Honestly, a combination of research before travelling, advice from Chinese friends, and general life experience and working out things :)
Great video. Will be traveling to China early next year. I have quite a lot Yuan in paper form leftover from my last visit from 10 years ago. Since all transactions are now done using phone apps like AliPay, what can I do with them? Or where can I go to exchange my paper Yuan?
@30:02 - the video is fine - but if you do move the camera a lot, record it in 60 fps ( the images look smoother/clearer) - no need for 4k, 1440p 60 fps would be perfect
Fantastic video, thanks so much for all the info. As a fellow Aussie hoping to travel to China soon, do you hook up a credit card (I noticed you have Visa card connected?) or should you hook up a debit card? Also, does your Aussie bank charge you any fees per transaction through AliPay or WeChat?
Thankyou for the positive comment. I don't know much about credit cards, I changed to an ING bank as they have zero international transaction fees and zero ATM fees. All transactional fees are credited into my account the next day. I would suggest contacting you bank and asking them what their relationship is with Wechat and Alipay :)
If i was using them everyday and for longer then an hour this would make sense. I don't use these everyday. I'm also useless at remembering to charge other things, so the chances my battery pack would be charged for an outing is pretty slim lol I would end up just renting. To a tourist, this price is extremely affordable.
I am not sure. You would have to contact Revolt and ask them if they partner well with these apps. Make sure whatever bank you use, they do nor have overseas transaction charges. I changed to ING for this reason. All transactional charges are credited back into my account the next day
Fast food is actually a bit expensive for food. If you go to a local chinese restaurant, the food is a healthier, bigger portion and even more affordable 😊 The food in Australia is also very expensive now 😢
You would be shocked if you knew what I drink in my hotel first thing in the morning ...Instant with long life milk hahaha KFC in China rules the KFCs in the world. The menu is wild!
I hope the CCP doesn't kidnap this nice traveler and use her for political purposes. Good luck to her. Based on this comment alone, if I were to go there I would probably dissappear.
Haha, they won't. The lady already said she feels safe. I follow a lot of youtubers who travel to China, and no one thinks safety will be an issue in China. You will be safe too in China,my friend.
Thank you for introducing us here China's e-money 🎉 How convenient 🎉 In fact, many foreign friends misunderstand our electronic currency and electronic surveillance in China!, Please tell tourists not to do bad or illegal things in our country of China, This is a very convenient and safe devicel! Wow, thank you for the support on both platforms! I wish I had done this video earlier 😂
Thanks for explaining Wechat and Alipay ..... very helpful for those wanting to visit China.
I really hope so! It can be intimidating for new travellers, so I hope this takes that away 😊

It's funny how the brain works 😅 To be honest, I was learning Japanese a year ago, and that's I was trying to remebemer the hiragana 😊
Well done, keep it up 👍
Thankyou :)
I'm glad to hear the truth. China like any other countries, have negative and positive side, just tell us the true story. Thank you.
Every country has negatives and positives.. no country is 100% positive. If there was, we would all be there!
Love the walk and talk, you're very natural talking on camera. We used to have these gun, grenade and knives styled candies in NZ back in the day as well, even had cigarette candy for kids and pretty sure they still do lol.

the first sitting toilet/throne was invented by the Egyptians. they have it prominently displayed in the British Loot Museum.

If you have two phones, you can use another phone's google translate to scan and translate these Chinese into English.
Absolutely 💯 you can also use wechat for this or any translate app. Just make sure the translation app can be used off-line too
🤣Battery bank price is expensive, 4yuan/60min. I suggest you can buy one(Airlines stipulate that the rated energy does not exceed 100Wh).

$3.67 usd for that much food that is so cheap. Compared to U.S $18 before the tax.
at least no tipping at "fast food places" yet in America - China is a no tipping culture

It can be intimidating.
