  • Squier Bullet Stratocaster - The Electric Guitar for Beginners and Beyond
    It's that time of the week - we have a new #FocusOnSound review video for you over here at Regent Sounds, and we thought that, in the run-up to Christmas, we might offer those of you considering taking up an electric guitar for the first time, why the Squier Bullet Stratocaster might just be a brilliant fit for you.
    Featuring everything you could want in an electric guitar, the Bullet essentially features and mirrors the entire design of the iconic Fender Stratocaster, while making this accessible at an entry-level price point.
    Available at our Denmark Street store, and on our website www.regentsounds.com, the Bullet would make a great gift for anybody considering picking up the electric guitar for the first time. The tones we demonstrate in this video show that this guitar is no slouch, and can really hold its own in a variety of different musical scenarios.
    We hope you enjoy this video, and please let us know your thoughts and comments, and we'll endeavour to make the content that you want to see.
    Until the next one...

    If you don’t sound good on a bullet, you won’t sound any better on a more expensive guitar 🤟🏻

    This is a damn nice guitar , especially the hardtail .
    The only downside are the tuners , but they are easily changed by better ones .
    The pickups are great sounding and the neck is a dream .

    With a setup, good strings, and superior amp you can even make an old shoe sound good

    Oh wow, I bought my bullet strat at regent sounds a few years back when I was in the UK. Pulled it all the way back to Australia. Big thanks to the staff for helping me out my 17 y/o self 🤙🤙

    One can hear that the pickups are slightly noisy, but overall sounds nice. Clearly the amp is helping!?

      I have that same exact guitar. I put some graphite string trees on it, put a hot rails pickup in the bridge (just for personal preference) and wired the middle tone control to also work on the bridge pickup. I regularly gig with this axe.

    Great demo! Doesn't sound like a cheap guitar at all! Great playing too!

    If it's got a 42mm nut, it's a great guitar period. The older Squiers with the 40mm nut were just a shade too small in width (for me anyways).

  • @voiksmusifan
    @voiksmusifan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I have one, too. But the bridge pickup isn't affected by any of the two tone pots, right?

    • @erictoniaschwab1009
      @erictoniaschwab1009 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Voix Musifan That is right. That’s the way the original Stratocaster was. The bridge pickup was not wired to a tone knob. I’ve been told it’s an easy modification.

    If the frets are truly med-jumbo, it is the first Squier Bullet to have that option. I have 3 Bullet guitars and want that one. So where can I get that hardtail?

    I'm glad I have the HSS version!

    • @phillipholt6005
      @phillipholt6005 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @SplatterYaYa This is going to be kinda of a long reply but you'll see why and be glad. I had a 1992 Ibanez acoustic electric thin line and I fought with it for 10 years because I didn't know and at the time I was starting to play guitar. I traded it for the HSS HT to Sam Ash and paid 35 dollars because it was considered a vintage guitar and bought the last one they had except the demo. I played it and I was hooked. Then last month it got stolen and after research I found out the reason it didn't have a tremilo and I also found out they were primarily was for show and it had a Rosewood fretboard and that was fine because I'M not a fan for tremulous. I bought a new one and the alder fretboard and I received it a week ago and I can't put it down because the PLAYABILITY is excellent. I bought it from Sweetwater without playing because I've been a customer of theirs for 10 years because they have always did me right on everything. They have their own 2 year warranty even though Squires has a lifetime warranty.

    How do u get this sonority? Is there a box to buy? Or some setup on the guitar/amp?

    • @regentsounds9044
      @regentsounds9044  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We run through the amp and pedal setup just before demonstrating each individual pickups. It’s perhaps slightly unfair, as we are running this guitar into amps and pedals that cost magnitudes more than the guitar itself.

    • @eggman6888

      Depends on what you want to play. SSS is better for blues, jazz, clear playing. HSS is better for playing with distortion, or music like hard rock or punk.
