Hey Mel I have a question. At the breeders house, and then in your new Medaka bowl, there's no filtration or air stones. So do they need water flow or not? Because in your first bowl, you have a filter. Or a water fall???not sure which. Is that to much flow for them? Or can they go both ways? Oh, oops. No pun intended. LMAO.
They do prefer a slow to no flow water but in a setup like his small waterfall pond they will be just fine with the amount of turbulence. The way those waterfalls normally work there's places they can escape if they get too tired. Plus it creates a great break in the surface tension which is needed to help oxygenate the water. Either way is fine to be honest. No harm no fouls 🤙🤙💪
Lolol yeah Cat they can go both ways The Breeder runs air in all of his totes but turns them off when we are looking at them but honestly they don’t need it, that’s why I wanted to show everyone two different ways to keep Medaka they don’t need filters but plants definitely help filter the water naturally and weekly water changes are easy with just a pitcher!!🤙🏽💯🤙🏽
