Cockney accents are so fun :)
For American English, the rule is to replace those ‘t’s with a soft ‘d’ sound like ‘wader’ (water) or ‘boddle’ (bottle)

As a Chinese, I actually feel like American accent and pronunciation is much easier. Also it’s clear to be understood and caught when you hearing others’ words. But American talk too fast 😂 I used to pronounce in American accent when I was a student, but since I watched the luxiem my accent has been so strange for some words. Like naur and wa’er😂 I tried to find my American accent back but I failed casue cockney is so addictive 😂 I can’t get rid of it from my brain !!!!! help help help

@@Rosienee I am American, and I can start speaking differently if I watch too much British TV or videos too 😂😂😂
If you aren’t fluent it is probably hard to understand some accents like Cockney or Scottish, but native speakers can probably still understand you.
But if you want to sound more American, we usually skip over consonant sounds like T and R. So we say ‘wader’ instead of waTer, or ‘hOrr’ instead of hoRoR
MrYang has a very good TH-cam channel if you want to look. I don’t speak any Chinese but I think he’s very funny and does a good job explaining. Good luck :)

      真的,Cockney還只是其中一種口音而已而且算簡單了ww英國其他地區的口音很多英語母語的都聽不懂

      而且英國人詞藻比較華麗一點,描述事物的修辭比美國多很多,對詞彙的定義也比較嚴謹,不像美國喜歡混著用,加上很多美國口語不常用的單字就很難。

      真的 聽說過北部的口音更難聽得懂

Cockney is a strange accent, like people from Toyama or Okayama in Japanese. Native English speakers sometimes cannot understand it either.
Standard British English is not much different from what someone would learn in an English class, it only has some vowel sounds that are different from American English.
(I tried to phrase my comment so that TH-cam translator would get it right, I apologize if it doesn’t come out correct 😅)

@@tubeshut8118I think that the Y in his name is actually a vowel, since in English Y is a vowel sometimes (usually only when its said like an I or E)
People do say his name like “MIS’d A” so that works out

      其實他唸他的名字比較像Mys da...確實沒有完整的T音😂
      所以Mystake 才會變成小錯誤(?)
