Okay! So, getting US citizenship seems easier than going to India from the Philippines. Even when with your MARRIED partner, there are multiple procedure to follow - and the only reason we get to know is - preventing trafficking - like, even when the girl is with her husband and she has the marriage certificate! Very scary. Now, this brings me to a few of my questions: 1. How is the report of marriage different from a marriage certificate? 2. Where can we get the RoM - and how long it takes? 3. Considering I am getting married in the PH, I believe the MC takes some time to be issued. Under that circumstance, if I want to bring my wife to India for tourism for 30 days, what shall be the proof of marriage? 4. Is there a different CFO counseling required after getting married? 5. I know you have not got the OCI yet, but based on your knowledge - after getting an OCI, do we need to go through such a strict immigration process too for my wife? Thanks and Regards!
1. ROM is marriage in foreign country and MC is local marriage 2. From the embassy of the foreign country in the country of marriage 3. Any proof that documents are submitted and marriage is in process. If not, I guess it's just better to wait. Maybe you are not even allowed to travel during marriage process, I'm not sure - check with local office. 4. Not sure, but I guess it's same. 5. Immigration in PH has nothing to do with OCI. OCI is just long life visa.
Namaste Bhaiya and Bhabhi I have also booked flight to Vietnam with family....Its an coincidence but it will be next month...I want to ask about: I have seen in VISA as I have booked flight from 29th Aug to 2 Sep via VietJet and reaching at 30th Aug.. So Am i right if I enter Intended date of entry as 30th Aug and Intended length of stay in Viet Nam (number of days) * as 5 days (3rd sep) or 4 days (2nd Sep) as We have to return on 2nd Sep another is about photo can we include same photo as in passport or another one in portrait photography? Will SBI International card work. I am asking so that E-Visa can be approved without any rejection. Because I don't want to be rejected
some of the questions they asked you is not nescessary, it makes me scared going back there.. I pass European immigration without soo much question. they are very nosey.
Glad everything went well. Safe travels!
Thank you! 😇
