I love that multicolored fabric, that blouse looks so feminine on. The other one is very nice also. Great job as always and you most definitely are a very experienced seamstress. Love this series, so oh yes, please bring it back again. 😊
Thanks so much Sue, the flowery top really is a statement piece for me as I have nothing like it in my wardrobe. I am glad you enjoy the series and it will certainly return in the new year. I am glad you think I can sew, I always think I just muddle along! 🧵😊
Love the fabric wheel excitement! Please don't stop. Both blouses are very pretty. I don't see all the fulness of the long sleeves on the pattern either but what you ended up with looks really great on you. Love the peplum blouse too. I think you've added some nice variety to your wardrobe. I also really love the top you are wearing. Some nice tops.
Thank you so much Kathy, the wheel will return I just didn't want people to get bored of it! I love doing it as it makes sewing more of a challenge for me. As you say, with these blouses I have definitely added some different styles to my wardrobe which will be so useful. 🧵😊
Definitely not bored by the wheel! Two more lovely makes. It's great that you are trying some new silhouettes. It can be a bit of a risk but occasionally you find a new favorite
You are right Nancy that floral one was quite brave for me but I think it worked, as you say, I tried some new silhouettes. Glad you want the wheel to return. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
I really like both tops on you. I will take your word for it about the sleeves on the first one, but it looks lovely IMO. I also really enjoy the fabric wheel. It inspires me to look at my fabrics more creatively and to get them sewn.
WE WANT THE FABRIC WHEEL! Please please olease bring back the fabric wheel! Your shirts are both adorable! Love that brightly colored one. That collar placket on the blue shirt looks intimidating, 😳but love the wnd result. Do you find that you run out of room to store all your makes? My closets and drawers are so jam packed. It makes me reluctant to sew more clothes, but I cant stop myself! Nice sewing you mid week again!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ha ha the wheel will definitely return next year, I am glad so many people like it and aren't bored as I love doing it 😂. Re wardrobe space, I am pretty good at clearing out quite often as I only have a small wardrobe unlike you with your vast room!! I do keep my out of season clothing packed away though which helps. I know I do sew a lot of things but a lot of women buy a lot of clothes and NEVER wear them, at least I do wear what I make 😂. Let's face it, we probably all spend a quarter what others spend in the shops making our own stuff so I never feel guilty....maybe sometimes when the huge packages of fabric arrive at the door 😳. Miss you loads and thanks for stopping by xxxx
Two more beautiful blouses! I like the sleeves on the first one although they are not in your comfort zone, and that's important because if an item doesn't feel right it won't get worn. It was worth the extra time and trouble to face the flounce on the second top, and yes, I love the Fabric Wheel of Fate!
Thanks so much. To be honest the blue one will probably be worn with a cardigan over the Autumn Winter so I won't notice the sleeves anyway! I can't wait to wear the flowery one on our next trip away and so glad I lined the flounce as you say. Happy Sewing 🧵😊
Loved your fabric wheel series. Both blouses lovely but i"d prefer the second one. I often mak a peplum, the high/low peplum gives me ideas 😊. Thanks again
Thank you so much Ann, the second one is my favourite too as a very dressy blouse, something I don't have in my wardrobe. Glad you like peplums too! 🧵😊
Yes, YES, YES!!! Please do continue with The Fabulous Fickle Fabric Wheel of Fate!! You are making great use of your stash. I like the style of both shirts you made. The first one certainly had a more billowy sleeve to it than what the pattern picture showed. It looked nice though. Happy Sewing!
Thank you so much Deb. I can't believe how billowy those sleeves were on the blue top and I trimmed them down a lot! I should have taken more notice of the pattern piece. That neckline was a bit of a devil to do though I will admit. Hope all is well with you all, miss you! 🧵😊xx
Love the Fabric Wheel of Fate. Always fun to see what you end up making. My friend and I call those blouses "Ladies do Lunch" tops. You know, the tops you don't wear around the house or in everyday life but you put them on to go out with your friends and you feel a bit dressed up. Both are very pretty and a bit different than you regular makes. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Carol, you are right about that flowery top, it is very much an evening or lunch out type of top! I can't wait to get the chance to wear it. The Wheel will return in the New Year! 🧵😊
Hi Carole! I think the “scary” sleeves look pretty! I love lovely love the wheel and will not get bored! You are an inspiration! I will be patient for the next series! I am so behind on my dice only because I’m making dresses for project dress a girl❤❤❤ As always, great to see you!XX ❤❤
Hey Mary!! I am such a chicken when it comes to sleeves and don't want to 'stand out' from the crowd 😂. I am glad you want the fabric wheel to return because I want to see more of your dice!! Well done on the PDAG dresses, I wonder how many Mari has got so far? Hope to see a video from you soon xxx💗
Hi Carole. I'm glad the Fabric Wheel of Fate will be back -- I've really enjoyed the series and think it's a fun way to dig in to your stash and get stuff made up instead of just shuffling fabric around while 'managing' your stash. Thanks, Antonia
Thank you so much and with all these votes the Wheel will definitely come back next year! As you say, it is a great way of using up fabric and pattern stash. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Carol, it is so fun to see you use the spinning wheel thingie. I simply pull out whatever I need to use up and try to find I have enough of one fabric to sew up which pattern. I am sewing another blouse and a couple of Love Notion's Metric Blazers. They are out of ponte and not really blazers at all. I will use them as open cardigans, as the weather cools off. I really love your challenges with buttons. You make me smile. Have a good week and I look forward to Friday Sews!
Thanks so much, I am glad you still like the Wheel videos! Now the Metra Blazer is one I really admire whenever anyone makes one, I know Izzy has a couple of lovely ones. Have fun making yours, you sound like you are very busy at the moment! ' See' you on Friday! 🧵😊
Thank you so much! I will probably wait until the New Year for the wheel to return as it is almost gift sewing time and I do have a lot of Autumn makes planned. Thanks for your sweet comments on the blouses 🧵😊
Carole, it looks like your trip was lovely. Candy corn and nuts is my favorite fall treat! Salted mixed nuts are also good (but that does make it more expensive). Excited to see more of your fall makes.X
Hi Diane, we did have a wonderful trip thank you. I am pleased to say I still have the candy corn and only eat a couple of bits a day, without the nuts though 😂. I was very pleased with the two tops I made and showed last Friday, Autumn sewing is well on its way for me! Thanks for your comment 🧵😊
Both lovely tops Carole. It just shows, we need to try out new patterns, because, who knows, we may love the results. Thanks for the fabric wheel of fortune...its been a great series.
You are right Annette, those patterns have sat in my files for a long time and now I've tried them which is brilliant! The wheel works so well for me. Thanks so much for always watching 🧵😊
The wheel of fate has just been brilliant! Loved following along!! Your blue top came out beautifully! I’m usually not one for big sleeves but I think they look really great on you
Thank you Rachael that is really kind of you. I guess I am just used to wearing jersey tops and sweatshirts with tighter sleeves! I need to bring back the wheel for next year I think judging by all the comments 😂. Happy Sewing 🧵😊

Glad you want the wheel to return as I have some 'challenging' fabrics that need sewing up. Hope you have recovered from Jet Lag now!! 🧵😊xxx

Hi Diann, hope you have had a good week! Thanks so much for being kind about the blouses and yes, I think the floral one is my favourite as well even though it is very brave for me! Glad you have enjoyed the wheel and I am sure I will dust it off after Christmas. Happy Sewing 💗🍓

All the tops you made came out beautiful. I'd love to see your wheel again. Will you please show your easy way of making your bias binding. Will really appreciate it ❤
Hi Lydia, thanks so much for your kind comments on my tops. I am a bit confused about the bias binding part, did I say I made some in this video?! I really do think I am getting old sometimes 😂. Let me know 🧵😊
Carole I love them both but I had to chuckle because I would say the second ones were much more 'statement' sleeves than the first! Both gorgeous on you tho
Thanks Deb, I am such a chicken about sleeves and if they are remotely baggy I get scared of them being noticed! The second one is my favourite though. 🧵😊
I love both the blouses on you. You definitely did right to refine the first sleeves. As described they must have been enormous. Anyway I’d be pleased if I’d made either of them. Love the fabric Wheel of Fate. Do please do it again some time.
Thank you so much for watching and your kind comments. The wheel will definitely return most probably in the new year as we are almost into gift sewing season!! 🧵😊
Thank you and believe me, I learn a lot too!! The great thing this time round is I sewed up 6 patterns I had not attempted before so i am really chuffed. 🧵😊
I love both of these tops and I think I want to try to find the first one to make for myself, and I think I might have the second pattern somewhere 🤔 I do love a big sleeve so it’s interesting to hear when someone doesn’t like it 😂 I look forward to your next wheel selections 😊
Hi and thanks so much for your comments. I am glad you haven't been put off the tops! It isn't that I don't like big sleeves it is just that I am not used to wearing them. Maybe I will be a convert after wearing these two!! Thanks so much for watching 🧵😊
I have really enjoyed your wheel and hope that you will do it again. Your tops are both lovely. The big wide sleeves always freak me out as I'm afraid of "dipping" into things.
Definitely bring back the fabric wheel next year! I really enjoyed it. Since you do grading between sizes would you consider doing a video showing you actually doing the grading between the sizes and how you go about it? I have graded between sizes, but I'm not sure if how I'm doing it is correct.
Oh dear Zelda, the way I do it is literally just cut on one line then guess where to cut the larger size 😂. That is kind of what the Big 4 Pattern sheet always says. It depends where you are smaller and bigger i suppose so I wouldn't show that in a video as we are all different. 🧵😊
Always fun with FWoF! How many of the patterns would you make, again? Everything turned out really pretty. I enjoy all of your videos, Carole. 😊-Deborah
Now Deborah that is a really good question, in my Round Up video next week I think I say which ones I would make again but as a sneak peak... The Aisling Blouse without a doubt! Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Hi and thanks for your comment. I don't know why I am too worried about the sleeves to be honest as they will most often be under a cardigan anyway 😂. When I have 3/4 sleeves it always annoys me when I have another layer on top with full length. 🧵😊
Yes please to another wheel of fate. I love this series, it inspires me to be more adventurous in my own sewing
Thanks so much for the comment and vote for the wheel. I will do another series in the New Year don't worry. 🧵😊

Thank you so much for your kind comments and yay, another vote for the wheel! 🧵😊
🧵😊
@@socarole66Gift sewing is definitely high on my list. Now I must start…..or be left manically trying to get it together too late in the season
I love that second top. Very stylish.
Thank you so much, I don't have many pieces that are stylish in my wardrobe so I love your comment!! 🧵😊
Love your wheel, hope to see it back next year.
Thank you so much, sounds like from all the comments I will definitely be bringing it back! 🧵😊
I love your fabric wheel!!!
Thank you very much! 🧵😊
The Fabric Wheel of Fate is great! We all learn from your experiences!
Thank you and believe me, I learn a lot too!! The great thing this time round is I sewed up 6 patterns I had not attempted before so i am really chuffed. 🧵😊
I LOVED the wheel!
Thank you so much, the wheel will return! 🧵😊
That blue blouse is beautiful! Love the sleeves!
Thank you so much, I know I will learn to love those sleeves!
Thanks so much, I am glad you still enjoy the wheel videos! I am not sure how those sleeves will work out for me yet, time will tell. 🧵😊
I love the fabric wheel. I think it's a brilliant idea,
Thank you so much 🧵😊
Definitely love more wheel vlogs.
Amazing, thank you so much! 🧵😊
The fabric wheel is so much fun to watch 😊
Oh thank you so much Kathy, I am glad you enjoy it 🧵😊
the fabric wheel is fun! Please do it again!
Thanks so much, with all these votes it is going to have to return! 🧵😊
Look forward to your next sewing wheel
Thanks Annette, I still have some awkward pieces in the stash so it could be a tricky one! 🧵😊
I love the wheel! Both tops look really nice!
Thanks so much! 🧵😊
😊 Yes bring back the wheel great fun
Thanks so much for watching and your comment! 🧵😊
Team Fabric Wheel !!!
Awesome thank you so much!! 🧵😊
Love the wheel.
Thank you so much, it will return!! 🧵😊
Carole, that was me calling you on the phone to say hi!😅😅😅😅
Both tops are beautiful!❤
Ha ha that is so funny Zelda!! Stupid phones 😂. I should know better than to not have it on silent!! Thanks for your comments 🧵😊
Both tops are lovely!!
Thank you so much Harriet! 🧵😊
Yes, please bring your fabric wheel of fate back again
Thanks I most definitely will now! 🧵😊
❤❤❤ Bernadette
Thanks for watching Bernadette xx🧵😊
The tops look but I'd be tempted to change the sleeve to 3/4 length. It's not too late to do 8t.
Hi and thanks for your comment. I don't know why I am too worried about the sleeves to be honest as they will most often be under a cardigan anyway 😂. When I have 3/4 sleeves it always annoys me when I have another layer on top with full length.
