Guapo is such an amazingly calm fella. He just sat there while you doctored his wounds with barely even a twitch. I am still praying for his full recovery and Petro too.

Bless Guapo for being so calm and chilled whilst you’re cleaning and dressing his wounds. The love and trust he has with you will grow even tighter, he really is such a gentle soul, he knows you are only trying to help. I bet you and kate have betadine freckles as I know it can stain a lil bit. Huge Thank yous to kate for being so understanding and generous having senior Guapo wandering around your home. Guapo really does look so much better, his spines are standing tall again. I know this is a slow healing process so super thankful for Dr Mike over at PGA for offering to look after him whilst you’re away. Petro looks amazing and it’s so nice to see him back cuddling with his lady Petra Sending every ounce of positive healing vibes over to Guapo and Petro and of course the biggest hugs to you, kate, Sophia and Leo 🤗🐢🤗

You're doing amazing caring for Guapo. So diligent and loving. Just a tip, don't blow on the wounds as it can reintroduce bacteria. It's why we wear masks in Surgery theatre. ❤
I was worried about Guapo but I also know reptiles have one of the most incredible immune systems and ability to recover from crazy injuries. Glad he's doing better!!!

Sorry for the double message !!!! Silvadene does wonders. I was a fireman for 33 years. In 1979 I had gotten burned while inside a house. Serious burns but thank God for silvadene. Silvadene became a part of my life on a daily basis. Good luck with Guapo. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
He’s still absolutely gorgeous. I’m so pleased by his progress, he’s such a sweetheart and so lucky to have such wonderful people looking after him so well and giving him so much love.

I'm just a lurker for the most part, but I've been watching your channel for years, and it really does feel like I have gotten to know the animals, and you, Mr. Kenan. I'm just a small scale hobbyist from a cold climate, so I'll never be able to have what you have, but I have learned so much from watching you (I own geckos and snakes), particularly about first aid and home healthcare for reptiles. You truly are a valuable resource, so keep it up!
TLRD: My heart was in my stomach all throughout Guapo's ordeal, just like with Slinky's accident and miraculous recovery a few years back. Glad to know he's doing better!

One of the things I've always respected about you and enjoyed on your channel, Kenan, is that you're always honest when you make a mistake. You do your best for your animals but mistakes can always be made, and just like any one else you beat yourself up for making them but once the animal is okay you always immediately share what you've learned from the experience and the steps you're going to take to make sure it doesn't happen again.
So relieved Guapo is on the mend!

Thank God, they are both doing better. Poor Guapo still has a ways to go. I love that Kate's fear of lizards seems to be lessening. I think all this close contact with Guapo over the next months will be a good thing. He'll be her baby by the end! 😂

He looks so much better, but not out of the woods yet. The combination of your high standard of husbandry, the quick response by you and the vet team, as well as your continued and thorough care is what is making this possible. This animal would not be doing as well if he hadn’t already been is great shape. You really are the standard people should reach for.

I say Petro started it just because-- ! Yeah, yeah, I know they probably ticked each other off. I think in a past video on this channel, the iguanas HAD seen each other and there was an aggressive display by at least one of the males.
Love how you care for ur animals. From my OCD and healthcare background try to not dry by blowing your breath on the affected areas can cause increase bacterial issues or illness . Continue ur wonderful care 🙌🏻🙏🏻🌟💫❣️💯

K,when you buy your syringes ask for syringes with luer-slip connection,not luer-lok, which is what your using here,luer slip syrynges are better for washing out wounds,thats what the surgeons i work with use.

I still think you should get some door motion sensors that just go on the trim on the doors so if a door opens you get a notification on you phone. You can can most likely get a pack of 4 or more for $ 100 or so . All the best buddy amazing videos always. 😊
